Chapter 1 ~ New Crush
I quickly ran in the hall to my class.
Oh no! I'm almost late! I thought while running as fast as I can to room DD-2.
Right when the bell rung, I made it.
"Whew! Thought I was a gonner!" I said as I drooped in my seat.
"Miyeon, where have you been?" my best friend Katelyn asked as she sat beside me.
"Well, I-"
"Nevermind about that! New guy alert!" she said, setting her backpack down and smiling.
"Really? Where?! I wanna see! I wanna see!" I exclaimed, looking around.
"Right there... his name is Jacob." Katelyn said as she pointed at a boy walking to the seat right beside me.
"Ooh, he is cute! And he's sitting by us!" I happily said while looking at Jacob.
"Ok class, my name is..." the teacher began.
Blah blah blah... I have boy buisness. I thought in my mind while looking at Jacob.
"My name is Mrs. Tracy." she said, while writing her name on the board.
"Now, I will pass out a paper for you students to write all about yourself." Mrs. Tracy said while passing out binder paper.
I took out my baby blue pencil with my name carved on it, and began to write about myself.
*Ring! Ring!* the bell rung, as we quickly put our stuff away and lined up for recess.
Chapter 2 ~ Eyes Meet
Everyone ran outside for recess.
As usual, Katelyn and I walk calmly to the blacktop.
"So, you like Jacob, don't you?" Katelyn asked me, grinning widely.
"Yeah, I guess." I responded, looking away.
"Cute, eh?" she asked me.
"What?! Cute?! Puh-lease! He's BEYOND cute!" I said to Katelyn, giggling.
She also giggled, and we giggled until we got to the blacktop.
Katelyn and I saw Jacob with someone as soon as we got onto the play area.
Who is she...? I thought to myself and tapped on Katelyn's shoulder.
"What?" she asked as she turned her head.
"There... Jacob..." I whispered while pointing at the two.
"J-J-Jacob and... Diana?!" Katelyn exclaimed and grew angrier at each moment.
"It's the first day of school! How can they already meet?!" she screamed angrily.
Jacob turned to our direction, then froze where he was.
It seemed like he was looking at me, and he didn't even move a muscle.
I couldn't take my eyes off of him until Diana tugged at his sweater.
"Hurry up Jakey, Savannah and Anthony are waiting."
"Come on Miyeon. Forget about them." Katelyn said calmly and gently pulled my arm.
I can't believe it... I thought and walked away with Katelyn.
