.Why it's fun
Neopets is a lot of fun. You make up to 4 pets (in almost 50 available styles). If you are over 13, you have access to the whole site, including NeoMail (like email), owning a shop to sell your items, trading your items for more money, called neopoints, and get food and toys to keep your neopets happy. Neopets is also very fair, and you don't have to pay for much of anything except Neocash, and there are occasional opportunities to earn free Neocash.

. Problems with the site

Neopets is a huge time commitment. In order to keep your neopets happy, you have to log on every two or three days to feed and play with them. Some people just don't have this kind of time and thus don't play. Also, the staff has been known not to answer the emails you send them sometimes.

Maple story, no offense, is ridiculous, out of all nexon games this would be the on they've screwed up the most. It's pretty much a free-to-play pay-to-win game. If you ever wanna get anywhere in the game you have to buy cash shop items.


Anyways, a better nexon game in my opinion is Dragon Nest ;0
The play style is much better, it's not a tab and click way to fight. It's not pay-to-win, the animation is beautiful, the enemies are either cute, or really like epic, The story-line is AMAZING, one of the best stories I've ever played it's up there for the mass effect story line for me o3o.

Would ourWorld be any good?
It's targeted towards teenagers, and it's mostly a chatting game, where you earn flow (by chatting, playing minigames, etc) and use it to level up. The higher level, the more items, areas and features available.

And you can do quite a lot without being a member.

So.. just a suggestion.

Elsword and Spirit Tales are really great RPGS. They both require a download, though.
