Hey everyone PSA

Please post in the right section! It's tiresome to have to move every topic into the correct section. I understand that sometimes you make mistakes, and that's okay! But if you post every single topic you make in the posting games section (this goes if it's not a posting game, obviously), then you need to pay a little more attention as to where you're posting.

I've made a little breakdown of where everything goes-

(skipping forum rules (as it's locked) and forum news (as the only people who post in there are staff))

Forum Discussion-If you have a question about the forum, please post it in here. Not forum lounge. If you have a question about warning bars, catagories, how the pm system works, etc, post it in there.

Introductions-If you're new here (or returning from a ban, long break (do not post here if you logged off for a couple days and then came back), etc), then feel free to post a topic introducing yourself. c:

Fantage Discussion- Anything about fantage that doesn't fit in any other catagory. There should be no fantage discussion/topics in the forum lounge. If you have a question, want to post a poll, or want to talk about things going on in fantage, don't be afraid to post it here.

Fantage Ideas&Support- If you have a suggestion for fantage post it here. New area idea? New pets? Post it here!

Fantage Parties&Events- If you're hosting a party, or meetup, or something then post it in this section.

Fantage Screenshots- If you want to show off your new house, or clothes or whatever then post it here. Posting games like "Rate the Fantage Avatar Above You" go here, and not the posting games section.

Fantage Creations- This is the one that is forgotten about the most. You post your recolours and edits here, not the artwork/graphic section. If you post in here a lot (three or more topics a week), then you can make a gallery and I'll sticky it for you. uwu

Fantage Updates- Like the name is, post updates here. If you want to post about a new event, or new items, post that here.

Art Discussion and Tutorials- If you have a question about Photoshop or SAI, or you need a link to a good tutorial, or you want to post your own, post it here. Please don't post questions about art programs in the forum lounge, or any other section.

Artwork- THIS IS BIG. If you want to share your recolour or edit or graphique, post them in either the Fantage Creations section, or the graphic section. This is the section that I've cleaned up a lot, and I'd like it to be clean. If you drew something on paper then you can post it here. Also, if you post a lot of topics showing your art (three or more each week), then you can make a gallery and I'll sticky it.

Graphics- Like I said, if you want to post a recolour or edit, post them in the Fantage Creations section -- that's why it's there! If you edit something in Photoshop or Gimp or any other editing program post it here. Banners, signatuers, avatars (all that you've made yourself, of course) go here. If you edit your fantage character or something please post it in the Fantage Creations catagory.

Literature- This one is self-explanitory. There aren't many problems at all with this section, but I'm going to say what to post in it anyways. If you write a story or a poem or a speech then you can post it here. Any form of writing is acceptable.

Videos- Post videos you made yourself here. Other videos go in the entertainment section.

Creation Shops- If you make a shop, post it here--REGARDLESS if it's a recolour shop, drawing shop, or anything else. The only kind of shop that is not allowed are generator shops. These are when you have a shop and you make the orders on something like a text generator, for example.

Forum Lounge- Talk about anything that doesn't necessarily fit in the other catagories. Polls and other things go here.

Entertainment- If you want to share a video that you did not make (like your favourite song, or a funny parody (appropriate of course!)), then post it here. You can also post pretty much anything that entertains you, like a funny picture or something, seeing as they don't really fall into any other catagory.

Your Day- Pretty much like a journal. If you had a great day, then post it here! A memorable moment that happened today? Post it here! However, please remember to put the date somewhere in the title. For example--My awesome day! (10/3/12)

Posting Games- Self exlpanitory. Put games like "Rate the avatar of the person above you" or something here. However, if your game is too similar to another, then it will be locked.

Roleplays- Public roleplays here.

Applications- Applications for public roleplays. If you're planning to start a private one, please have your apps over pm. Put it in your signatuer or something to advertise.

Private roleplays- Private roleplaying--only accepted users may post.

Also, please include at least three words in your post. If you're thanking someone or something, please don't just say 'thanks.' Please have a couple more words in your posts. And if you have recieved multiple warnings about something, yet you still post in the wrong section, you'er going to recieve an infraction.

And for my Warning Bar, I don't know if they ever go down?
I mean I know that I'm not like the BEST at being perfect, maybe double post now and then but mine I don't think has gone down ever. I think.

@Kitty Nope! It is a private message, there aren't really any restrictions. For example, if you send a PM to Mimi with only one word, I (or anyone else, for that matter) won't be able to see it unless I'm on your account, or her's.
Your warning bar has gone down once, seeing as it's yellow. If you want to to go up, try not to break any rules for a couple of months. I understand that no one is perfect, but it's easier to moderate when people are following the rules. :)

I have a question? Are fantage comics people I made suppose to go in the fantage creation section?

I have 1 question what if this topic gets old and people don't want to bump it but they have a recolor or something they want to post do they post it where it is close to? or just bump this topic and make there warning bar go down? Also i am not disagreeing with you but I kinda thought recolors were supposed to go in graphic/art. (I am sorry? that I posted my recolors in there I guess btw not all recolors are fantage stuff)

Can I ask you a question (not usuing PMs because maybe other people have the same question)? What if your topic doesn't get any replies, so can you bump it back up? By deleting it and reposting again.

@October No, if you're the last to post on that topic and you want to bump it, just delete the post (next to the quote/edit button should be a little x if you're the last to reply to a topic). Either copy what you posted/paste it, or make a whole different reply. This is so you don't end up double psoting. c:
@Rufi you're welcome! And that's totally okay, as long as you don't end up double posting, or bumping (unless it's a gallery or something), or breaking any other rule. c:

Obviously a lot of people just dont have the intellectual capacity to understand when they're breaking rules because they havent been told off when theyve done it.

You should just lock the rule-breaking topics and give infractions until people catch on. This is a good thread and you have nice explanations but people just ignore these. If you want the forum to change you need to set some examples.
