It may seem childish, but i THIINK I know why the rumor is spreading that the world will end.

Wel...... I was watching TV and i was watching this commercial that if the yellowstone volcano will erupt, the world will end. I think they may predict it will happen on the 25th of december or something but idk. Please, dont want to have an argument for like 60 pages. I just think, but not sure its true. Dont go peepee in your pants because im not sure, but i think this is the reason why they thing the world will "end".

So...... does anybody agree with me why they think?

No rude comments, i just wanted to point that out MABYE why they think.

I'm not sure, if I agree. People only think the world would end since "scientists" said a meteor would hit us and the world would end in 2012. But yeah, I don't really think the world would end like later on.

I don't think the world is gonna end here are my reasons:

1)They said that the world was gonna end in 2000 did it end?Nope.They also said it was gonna end next year but did it end?Nope.

2)Only God knows when the world is gonna end,he can control the world and he decides when we die.

3)In the bible it is clearly stated that God did end the world,due to wars/a lot of hate and fighting.He told this old man to build a big wooden ship with his family and to bring all the animals he can find.Once it started to flood/rain it was time to leave.Then,when it started to flood they stood on the ship for like 20-30 days.After a few days the man sent a bird to go and see if he can find anything like trees or places when its not flooded.After a couple of days of non success the bird came back and had a green leaf which was from a tree,everyone cheered got off the wooden boat and it was dry again.Then God promised he wouldn't end the world ever again.

Ta-Da.

I don't believe it, but it scares me. If the volcano does explode, I think it would just destroy one state. (just thinking of this gives me the chills)

God never ended the world? He just killed the people because they were misbehaving. Noah, his family and the animals lived. So yeah.

Thinking of the world ending is just...I wanna live one last day. :DD

Um guys don't believe everything you hear, a commercial really isn't trustworthy nor is the tabloids. I'd suggest taking the time to do research instead of trusting the media nowadays since false information are easily spreading around. If the 12/21/12 prophecy is true, then it'd just be a new beginning we'd have to be rebuilding and start new civilizations as the Aztecs, Romans, Egyptians, and more have done.

maybe, if it's science and this is just a commercial. Depending if we find a way to somehow block or lessen the smoke and how far it spreads. Maybe scientists will predict a little before it erupts, and people will have time to desert to the other side of the world.

I totally don't believe the 2012 thing, it has no real evidence whatsoever... I mean seriously come on, do you really believe the world will end?

The Yellowstone volcano isnt affiliated with the 2012 theories.

If it does erupt we could have a serious problem on our hands. The predicted eruption date is probably just a hoax though, but yea, it is a legitimate problem.

The world's not gonna end for millions and millions of years.
I don't really think a volcano can actually destroy the whole world.
The chances of that happening is very slim,anyways.

How can one volcano destroy the whole world? For that to happen, Mt Everest would erupt. But no one said anything about it. So its not true. Its stupid to believe what one person or one group of people say because it is probably not true. God will only destroy the world if people misbehave, which is why people are spreading rumors. It started to get people to stop committing crimes, or to get people to believe in God which is a horrible way to get people to go to church for 3 reasons:

1.) people will think that it is the end of the world for real and commit suicide

2.) it just encourages people to commit crimes

3.) people will fight about religious theories about who the world will end and it will start some kind of religious war

Mt. Everest isn't a volcano m'dear. I don't think that God would end the world over misbehaving, people misbehave everyday so the world would've ended by now. I'd think he'd end the world over evil coming to us right under our noses, not something as common as that.

Maybe 5 billion more years until the sun explodes, but that's all. No ending Earths around here!

The world is not gonna end for the next 5 billion years. Sure, there are some theories, but we're not sure if they are gonna happen.

Everyone got afraid that 2012 will end because of the movie 2012. The movie 2012 shows that the world's gonna end some movies did so too. So rumors started because of movies like this

I haven't seen "2012" yet. My brother has seen it many times, so I've seen pieces of it- if we are in the same room. No wonder my brother believes the world is gonna end!

2012 is not going to happen. It's just a rumor. Eventually we will die someday.
Just beacause the calender is ending does not mean the world is ending. Look, how would you feel if you were making a calender for a thousand years? Pretty tiring. So they just stopped it at a random date.. Not meaning the world is ending.

They found more Mayan Calendars for the future, so 2012 WILL NAWT BE DA END
