Yo this is kind of important so

Hey guys.

I just wanted to make this post just in case the worst happens.
I may not be on for a while, or at all, or very rarely, and I probably won't be as active as I am now, for many reasons.
A lot of stuff is happening in my life right now and I've been busy and stressed out on top of this. It is really really hard to find the motivation to get on anymore.
That, and I really need time to be alone. If you knew what was happening, you would understand. I don't want you guys to think I'm just being lazy or something, but y'all need to understand sometimes people just need to take a break from everything. So, yeah.
If you really want to know what's going on, an extremely abbreviated version of the story is that my mom is very ill and my father and I can no longer take care of her so she is moving out to have professional care at a care home. My parents are also getting divorced because of this. My mom's illness is so bad that her neurologist predicts with the rate she is going, in a year from now, she will probably have lost most brain function, and won't remember me or my dad or recognize us. When she reaches this point she probably won't have much longer to live either. So obviously it's a really hard time for me and my family right now. I feel like she is already gone sometimes, she doesn't remember our cats names and sometimes forgets my name when I talk to her. It's just overall a bad situation and I hope you guys understand that if I'm acting distant or weird or not getting on much it's just because I feel a lot of grief right now and it's hard...so..yeah.

Thats so sad. I'm very sorry to hear this and hopefully things will get better.

Thanks for your thoughts, but trust me, she's not getting better. We are waaaaay past the point of treatments and now it's just getting her professional care so we can prolong whatever time she has left. But thank you guys.

im sorry all these apologizes probably sound really fake and are probably helping you even less sorry for that too.

That's really sad. I hope your mother gets better! Let's hope that a miracle will happen. Just remember that we (FF) will support your family through these hard times...

I am so sorry to hear that! I hope something magical will happen to your mother, stay strong don't give up hope. I did that with my grandma and she is still alive. Best of luck to you and your family

wow i can't imagine what you must be going through. i really do hope your mother can enjoy all that is still ahead of her, even if it's not much. i guess, just try to make the best of it?? i'm so sorry i don't know what to say. i really wish i could help more.

Aw shucks guys, you have no idea how much your words mean to me. I just think it's really great that people on the internet are supportive even though they've never met me. But yeah. I'm in a really weird state of mind right now. I feel like it's not happening and I feel okay for now but the reality is still there and it sucks. But thank you guys for your support and stuff. I'm bad with tHANKS IM SORRY.....

I am really sorry Abbey. I wish the best for you and your family. I would cry if that happened to me. If i said i felt you pain, i would be lying right now. Stay stong, and think about the good times you had with your mom.

Dang.. that's a lot to go through, through such a small period of time. I don't think I could imagine what you're feeling at the moment, this actually makes all my problems sound good. I can't really help but... I hope you and your mother enjoy the time that you have together now, and please don't cry about it. : (
