Emotionless. Thats the only word I can think of to describe my feelings. I sit on the cold, hard, ground, rubbing my wrist. The communication cuff left a red mark on it. It was on so tight, I felt as if my wrist was going to explode. I sit in the same awkward position for about an hour, until someone comes in. I look up. An Angel. " Ribbon wants to speak to you." Is all she says, fluttering away, her bright white wings moving fast like a dragonfly's. I stand up, trying hard to keep balance on my bruised, burned feet. I lean against the wall for support, but the concrete scraps my already bruised skin, so I just hold it with my hand instead. When I reach the communication room, A huge room with large wooden doors, They open, and I walk in. I sit down in one of the white chairs, and look next to me. I almost gasp.
Alyssa.
She quickly turns, trying to hide the bruises, burns, and water marks on her face. To no avail. I smile. At least the water got her, too. I look down at her wrist, and discover her communication cuff is still on. I raise my eyebrow, but then I see something come In. Its Ribbon. " Well, it seems you've been quite the little sinners!" She says, unfolding her fan. Ribbon is beautiful, wearing a long white clock and flowing curls for such an old angel. She is the leader, though, and is EXTREMELY powerful. She controls who comes into heaven, and who gets dumped into hell.
" Lets start with your punishments." She says. She turns to Alyssa. " You, may you explain to me exactly WHY you killed Madelyn in the first place?" I twitch. Not only at the question, but the fact she called me by my first name. Alyssa looks down into her arms. " Well.." she begins. " When I was a child, I was very Angelic and religious. I loved Angels, and I loved hearing them fly across the sky in the mornings. I also loved Ribbon, or you. But I had a dark secret. A demon, one that somehow communicated to me from hell, possessed me. I was so fascinated by Maddie's ribbon, that when I seen her ribbon, I wanted to keep it from blowing away. Since it reminded me of you. But the demon possessed me at that time, and I tripped, killing her. The demon also made me throw her body away." Ribbon turns to me. " Why did you kill Alyssa?" She asks. I begin to talk. " Well, Wandering spirits have mixed Emotions. I was so angry, but I was able to hold my Emotions for a short period of time. Until I was possessed by a wandering demon. She caused me to kill Stream, Alyssa, and Alyssa's little sister. The demon was erased from me when we fell into the water." Ribbon nods. " Well, you might think this is an odd decision, but since it was Alyssa who made the Silent murderer.."
She looks at us. " Alyssa goes to hell, Maddie stays in Heaven."
