I quited fantage now I will quit...

DRAWING! Im so sick of this! I just HATE my mother! and yes i MEAN it! I HATE HATE HATE MY MOTHER MORE THAN I HATE LIFE ITSELF! she always says how I always brag about my drawing and it's the only thing you know how to do and bullies me about it! SERIOUSLY! what's wrong with drawing? I wanted to show my bff on skype my recent drawing and mother saw me and started doing it!
I took this oath.

Wow, I think that's a bit too powerful. Are you sure your mom isn't just teasing you? That's was moms do. My mom used to tease me all the time about a boy she thought I had a crush on, and I had to talk to her about it. Maybe you should just talk to your mom? Tell her the ways she is acting feels abusive, and it is really hurting you feelings. From one artist to another: DON'T STOP DRAWING. IF YOU STOP DRAWING A KITTY WILL DIE OF SADNESS.

Don't let your mom get in the way of drawing. She is your /mom/, I don't understand why she would bully you about your talent! Someone's always going to dislike something you do. Would you kill yourself if people bullied you about how depressed you are? (Not saying you are, just an example)

Please don't do this. ;( If she doesn't appreciate your talent, then ignore her when she mentions it. She's your mom, talk to her about how you feel? A real mom would stop if she found her daughter quitting what she likes to do.

Umm, you are overreacting... seriously... Hating your mother? REALLY? The woman who gave birth to you and took care of you? The woman who feeds you and put a roof over your head?
And quitting drawing because of THIS? Listen. Just tell your mother how you feel. Did you even do that?? Well, at least TRY. That's the first step in the right direction. Whatever she says, just tell her this:
"Listen mom, I need to tell you something. I love you, but this is really important. I would like it if you could encourage me more about drawing instead of hurting my feelings," etc. Just get your feelings out.
If she "butts in" while your talking, say:
"Mom, please let me tell you this first before we discuss it."
Or something like that... Yeah I hope this helps a little. If not I dunno... But try this before replying. It might work, ok?

Whoah chill. Yes its rude of her to say that, but your being a little too mad. You shouldn't quit something you love just because someone is teasing you?
And she's your mom. She loves you. You shouldn't hate her.

And she might actually be telling the truth. Pay attention to what you say.

You shouldn't act that way to your mother. She has taken care of you for a long time. I bet your mom is proud of you, and thats a good thing. You should talk to her, but be gentle, because your mom won't do anything that could make you sad.

You are over reacting. The only reason she does that to you is so that you will grow up very mature.

however, i do feel like your mum isn't one of those mums. talk to her, tell her how its bothering you you're doing this and that your feelings are hurt
if she doesnt listen well ignore her. but never stop drawing. drawing is a way to be happy, to enjoy yourself. everybody draws! even not artists. i say you should draw, it helps you in life.

also, if she's saying that 'it's the only thing you can do', then she probably doesn't actually want you to quit drawing forever, she just wants you to focus on other things in life, and expand your skills!! so ask if you can take music lessons, join a sports team, buy and rubiks cube and hang with the math geeks for crying out loud! i'm positive your mom only wants you to do more than just draw, that's all!! just talk to your mom and tell her that you love drawing and you're also welcome to do other activities too!! please don't stop drawing you've come so far and you have so much potential!

@everyone else, lol isn't overreacting. i mean, if you were suddenly told to stop doing what you love most and didn't know any better, i'm sure you'd be pretty upset too.

Actually, my mother and I are having fights recently so please don't say I'm overreacting because we fight 24/7 . She doesn't know that I got straight aA's she doesn't know that I cook very well! She never cared anyways for me when I reached 6th grade.my mom teases me ... You could see that in her eyes that she isn't teasing or something

Your mom shouldn't block you from drawing. You should do what you love and care for no matter what. If you stop doing something because of something else that's stressful, it can affect your life and give you even more stress. Doing what you love can even take you away from all the stress.

I suggest you draw even if your mom is bothering you very much. Ignore, talk to her, just tell her how you feel. But you shouldn't tell her in a mean way--it will only cause more problems for both of you.

If your mom is telling you to stop drawing I don't think she means forever, maybe she wants to see if you have other talents and to embrace those ones. Maybe you could look to see if there is another talent you are good at besides drawing. I think your mom is trying to say take a break and find other possibilities in life.

Lol. You just quited at drawing because your mom always tease you? ( Don't mind it. She is just teasing you because maybe she want to have fun. ) And yeah, Don't hate your mom just for that little reason because she is still your mom the one who gave birth to you. And you could just tell you're mom that why is she teasing your drawings so that you would know the real reason. So stop quiting in drawing because in school we always draw like. '' Hearts,circle,square'' Right?

If she doesn't let you draw at home, draw at school (preferably when you've got time, of course). Do you have your own computer? Practice at drawing digitally. There are a lot of loopholes. Just don't stop drawing.
I'm not sure if I have seen your drawings already, but everyone has potential. And that potential would be useless if we didn't use it. So please don't waste it, okay?

And as for your mom, just ignore her teasing bullying if talking to her isn't helping.
