| I'm looking for some good music to put on my iPod. The styles of music I like are kind of random? I really like Taylor Swift who is a pop singer, but I also like more indie music like Lenka and Story Hill and The Decemberists and Patrick Watson.
Any good artists/albums/songs you would recommend?
Thank you so much! | |

| . David Bowie.
. Linkin Park.
. Me
Those are some I like, but as long as it's not One Direction or Justin Beiber or Miley Cyrus or most recent pop music I don't really have a problem with any artists. | |

| Anything by David Bowie is awesome okay. Also try out the Velvet Underground, Lou Reed, The Stooges, Iggy Pop, Mott the Hopple, T. Rex, The New York Dolls, Crystal Castles (they're a modern band so you'd probably like them), Vixen, Roxy Music, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Elf, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Skinny Puppy, Throbbing Gristle, The Cure, Bauhaus, The Birthday Party, Blondie (!!!!), Megadeth, The Cramps, The Clash, Alice Cooper, Bjork (she kind of reminds me of Lenka, actually. You'd probably like the 'Debut' album.), The Sugarcubes (Bjork was the lead singer and you'd probably really like them!), Black Sabbath, Janis Joplin, Danielle Dax, Klaus Nomi, Nina Hagen, The Grateful Dead, Frank Zappa, The Smiths, Rammstein, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Adam Ant/Adam and the Ants, The Cult, Specimen, Tears for Fears (you'd probably like them, their music is very catchy and poppy!), The Culture Club, Dead or Alive, Strawberry Switchblade, TSOL, Christian Death, Billy Idol (again, very catchy stuff), Gen X, Eurythmics, Southern Death Cult, Naked and Dead, Gary Numan, Grace Jones, The Residents, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Rolling Stones, The Ramones, Marianne Faithfull, The Runaways, Lydia Lunch, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Led Zeppelin, Echo and the Bunnymen (you'd probably like them a lot too), Joy Division, Steam Powered Giraffe (another modern band~), Patti Smith...I've probably suggested way too much stuff by now, I'm sorry and I'll just make myself stop now. ;u; | |

| Actually Taylor Swift is a country & pop singer, not JUST pop. If you like her music, try Sugarland, Carrie Underwood, The Band Perry, etc... I like the Ready Set, even though I've only heard 1 song (LOL) and the Script. Others: Adele ... more but my iPod is dead xD And I cant remember the names so yeah. | |

| Join me and listen to twisted vocaloid songs by this guy called Mothy who's probably mentally ill.
Have you listened to the "Piano Guys" on YouTube? They make awesome covers for songs. One of my favorites by them is "Cello Wars"
But really you need to listen to Mothy's songs, they are flawless

| If you like violin and dupstep, you should listen to Lindsay Stirling. Her music is so beautiful wow, I love it. I also like Krewella and a few remixes. Really, lots of techno is what I like. Maybe Skrillex, too. Ah, I also like rock.
Most of my songs are random, so I don't think I can really help, aha.. |
