pentathlon [05/04/2013]

today was actually very great
woke up at 4:30 this morning because it takes me forever to get ready and went to school around 6:10
it took us like fifteen minutes to get to the high school the tournament was going take place at. my friends and i were studying hardcore all this week and on the bus and it was actually all worth it,,
we took multiple tests in our assigned classrooms and i was rlly happy because a lot of my friends and i were in the same class
from 7 AM to like 11 AM, we were being tested on math, science, social studies, language arts, and we had to write an essay. the tests were like multiple choice sooo
afterwards we went to the gym to do the super quiz and wow it was really exciting. for seventh grade there are six teams, three teams for each color (our team colors were white & blue); varsity, scholastic, and honors. i would've been on honors but my team and i were bumped down to scholastic bcus there were way to many honors lol
it was overwhelming wow competing against like five other schools scholastic was on a roll but im still upset because we missed four out of ten questions on science
after the eighth graders did their super quiz we were dismissed for lunch so we got to be outside for an hour and a half
when we returned to the gym for the award ceremony, kate and i were like sitting in the middle of the crowd since we were on bleachers and we were panicking because we didn't know how to get out IF we were called for a medal
before the ceremony actually started all of the schools were chanting and screaming and everything IT WAS SO EXCITING
I WON THREE MEDALS TODAY one third place for language arts and two fifth places for social studies & math. we failed science i guessed on most of them lol,,,,,

when they called my name my friends started to yell at me because i didn't think i was going to win something so i had to step down the bleachers over everyone and i felt all cool until i almost fell sigh
kate got frickin one first place medal and two second place medals i am so proud of her
and then after all the awards were over we left the gym and went on the bus where i fell asleep until we were back at the school

so now since pentathlon is over i do not have to worry about studying or anything anymore and i dont think we're getting the project assignment thing soon so yes i'll be more active than usual

Wow. Glad you're back. I'd die of boredom if I was to do something like this, guess I'm not up for this kind of thing.
