Poo.

Well, I was supposed to be tested for a really nice school. I went there with my dad and we talked with the man who was testing me. And just because I've been getting B's in Math, it brought down my score, and so then, if I did take the test, I'd have a 40% chance of passing. At this point, my eyes started to tear up, but I stopped them from dripping. Plus, I didn't even have a say in whether to take the test or not, so now I have to go to tutoring for that test. Yeah, I did cry.

It's just a test.
The school you go to doesn't have to match your learning abilities.
You can go to the worst school and learn a lot of things. You just need to step up & challenge yourself.

+ I'm wondering your age.
As a young person you might think that school is everything,
but it's actually not.
The more challenging it is, the less you like it.

Thanks. I'm in fifth grade. My family wants me to have a good education and be safe; as the other junior highs have baaad reputations.

Life is about tests.

Erm, what?

First off, the school you go to does matter as it looks good on an application.

And I think you have it backwards. A lot of young people dont think school is important and when they get older they realize how important it actually is.

It might be torture as a kid being in more difficult classes but it'll pay off in the long run. If you graduate from an IV league college you can do anything you want. You wave your college degree in front of your interviewer's face and you got the job.

Here's my advice. The past is the past. I went through a similar predicament last year and I'm stressing out right now about getting into the high school I want to right now because of an issue with my transcripts. Just focus on the future and do the best you can. Dwelling on what has happened isnt going to help you right now, just use your experience to better you for the future.
