Welcome one, wlecome all to the Fantage Forum Story Club/Writer's Guild! Here, discuss the stories that are part of the FFSC, trade writing techniques, share notes, post fanmade items, anything you want to! If you want to be added to the member's list, or would like to add someone else, please post it on this thread. Nominations via PM/Chatbox will not be accepted. If you would like to apply yourself/another person as an author, provide a link to the story. If it has more than three chapters, it's title will be put at the top and the author will be given immediate membership. If you would like be a fan/reader, please say so. You will be given membership, no exceptions.

Now, what's this all about? A member's list? That sounds formal and strict and stiff, nevermind exclusive. What do we even do here? For goodness's sakes, read the above paragraph! Makkine has to be a robot bent on world nomination, nobody could be that stoic and govermental! Come on!

Yes, I am. Thanks for clearing that up. We need this to keep track of people. Because we will have several activities, including a collab, a guide towards better writing by amateur writers, a poetry reunion, and improv game, and that's just for the writers! Readers will have a book club, a special stamp, moderation duties over the group, some sort of art project... And besides, joining is quick and easy and this is informal. There will be no pressure to do anything. Probably.

And you really think this is going to work? Organizing an organized group on a website like this is harder than you think! Remember the last two witing groups? Remember how they ended in failure?

Yes, but I am ~perseverant~ and I am positive this is going to work. You can come here with any doubts and someone else will kindly help you! Or if you have any questions or compliments or whatever, just post it here! Also, "Organizing an organized group", heh. Did you do that on purpose?

This sounds like paid advertizing. Made by robots. To advertize a forum thread. On the thread you're supposed to be advertizing. That is so pathetic. Also, why shouldn't you just post your comments, questions, whatever on the story thread itself? Doesn't that seem easier? Also, why the weird format? Why not just explain?

I feel that the specific story threads are more for compliments/critiques for the specific author, and not for writing in particular. Also, comments seem to have a specific length there, and are typically more succint and... Don't really connect to each other? There's no discussion? Whatever. And, wierd formats are awesome.

Alright, this is our first writing project.

Since most people are currently doing final/semester exams or projects, and since this is our first project, it will be simple and very easy. I think we will be using titanpad A LOT during our (hopefully not short) club-ness, because it's easy to use and requires no personal information to share. PLEASE COLOR CODE YOUR NAMES AND TELL ME WHAT COLOR YOU ARE. We're probably going to post this, and I want to give credit where credit is due. Also, PLEASE SAVE. PLEASE.

So, this is what the project is about: A short story about a girl walking her dog, and she gets lost. Go crazy from there, it doesn't have to be that boring if you want to! I have the first paragraph down, it's your turn!
