McKenna finally looked at me
She new that something was going on,
“W-what is it?” She said softly
“I-I-I can’t tell you,”
Before so could respond, I grabbed her arm and pulled her across the dance floor to the snack bar.
Before we arrived there, her eyes were full of tears,
She knew, and she saw.
She quickly ran over to Max and Bridget…
“Max! How could you!”
Everyone stopped dancing to see what all the hype was about, and the music kept blaring through the speakers.
McKenna turned to Bridget
“And you know what, I thought you were my friend, but instead you turned me against Lyli and make me think you were the “Good guy”!”
Bridget and Max didn’t move an inch,
All they did was look at the dance floor wishing they were somewhere else.
McKenna whispered in Max’s ear,
“I though I was really in love with you,”
Max’s eyes looked at me, then Bridget, then McKenna.
He got caught up in his lies, broken hearts, and cheats.
So did Bridget.
“McKenna, I’m sorry that I called you all those things, and did those things I did to you,”
She could tell that I was sincere.
“Lyli,” She smiled “you didn’t do those things to me,”
“It was Bridget and Max who were the ones who hurt me, and tried to take me away from you,”
“But all they did was bring us closer,”
She walked up to me and hugged me as tight as she could and said softly into my ear,
“Lyli, I’ve learned something, even though you think you love someone, you don’t know what they’re really like until you wake up your heart…”
