I saw this yesterday.
I've never read hunger games, in fact I only heard about it recently, but that movie looks amazing, regardless.

I only found out about this book from my classmate Rachel who did a book report on it.
She said in the book it's in the future and everything is divided into 12 communities. At first I though it was "The Giver" but I hate that book.. and the Hunger games seems more interesting. I already have the first book on hold.

@Katie_Forever "ajcfdiguhdpvifh ugofpjibvn;ovjpjcv fpQ!!!!" YES. @Relora Same here. I actually thought I had missed it at first. D: But I kept watching GMA and it came up. @Spy-der The books are amazing. It looks like the movie is going to turn out great; they depicted the storyline amazingly. I thought it might end up looking all fake/unrealistic, but it looks so realistic and intense. o_o I just hope the movie is even better than the trailer - unlike some movies where the trailer uses all the good footage. @Bluerivers/powerstay What I find scary is the government. o.e The action just seems intense and fascinating. @Skye 12 Districts and the Capitol. 12... It's insanely interesting. I blew right through the books and gave myself headaches. @ashley123 It. Looks. Amazing.

I've heard of it. The book. I've been wanting to read it for ages. But someone's always taking the book before me at the library. njrelgnlkerh.
BUT I SHALL READ IT ONE DAY. AND AFTERWARDS I SHALL WATCH TEH MOVIE.
Always. Always read the book before the movie. An advice for everyone out there o-o

... The characters are so off from what I pictured while reading the book. Like so off. I should illustrate them to emphasize. Exciting nonetheless.

Abbey, your birthday is only one day after mine!
I'm excited about the movie, although like Loke said, the actors they chose don't really fit with the way I imagined the characters.

"The giver" book? If it was, I hated that book to. The plot was sorta stupid and I hated how their or "they're" world had no emotion or pain. The world was never ment to be like that! >D:
And about the book in hold.... turns out that their was like 50 people who have it on hold. -_-. Oh well, the wait is worth while xD

I just read the book today. The first one.
I thought it was good, but kind of overrated. First of all it was really predictable. And I still dont get the whole concept. Like why do they hold the hunger games? The reason they gave behind it just doesnt seem good enough to me.
The whole idea of the hunger games is so disgusting, how did something like that even get started? And why dont the participants just protest? Refuse to participate? Having said that, once the action got started I really enjoyed it, and I'm probably gonna read the whole trilogy.
