Is anyone up for a collaborative writing thing?

I'm probably crazy for doing this when I already have two other writing projects going on, but WHATEVER!

I've tried to do this millions of times before, and it never worked, but I am going to go against Fate's obvious hatred for linguistic capability and do this again. With a rubber suit on, to prevent random lightning attacks.

So, what is this about? It's easy. We get a group of people, then place them in an arbitrary order. The first person writes the first chapter for a story, the second person writes the second, etc. However, if we only have five people that doesn't mean we need to have five chapters. When person 5 finishes chapter 5, person 1 will do chapter 6, p2 will do c7, you get the point.

I will go against my better judgement here and not even have a rudimentary title or plot theme to begin with. The reason is pacing, this way it will advance more realistically.

It's not a fun and games, though. Here are some rules that, although not strictly enforced, will make this more enjoyable for everyone.

1) Upload only on Friday, from 5 am-10 pm. What? Why? The reason for this is simple: togive everyone exactly one week to write. One week should be more than enough for writing, editing, and maybe some plotting. Also, it makes sure this project doesn't die off because someone didn't do it, and helps our readers know when to read.

2) I cannot stress this enough. Grammar and spelling. You don't have to be perfect, you don't have to be the winner of some weird spelling bee or a likely Fuhrer for the grammar Nazis, but please make sure your writing is readable. If you don't have spell/grammar check, either edit it yourself or send it to someone who does.

3) Make sure he vhapters are longer than two paragraphs, please.

@Pokie: No, no, no. This week is for Lyli to write, and we should have the first chapter up by next Friday. You'll write chapter 12, which is in 3 months. So no need to worry!

i would really like to do this... but... cos there is so many ppl wanting 2 join... i think we should have 2 or 3 stories running ( all about a different thing )... if u like my idea... could i please b 1st in one of the stories?
