| Maybe I can help you with this.
~Don't put Fantage in the big screen. It makes your fantage avatar too fuzzy and it would be impossible to recolor. Put it in the small screen. It makes it more clear and easier to recolor.
~Save your picture as PNG when you are done recoloring. When you save it as JPEG, it totally ruins it's quality.
~Put a little more effort in the shading. You have to shade the hair, but nice shading with the clothes and the board. | |

Fantage should already have the shading in the original picture so just follow that. | |

| That's nice. For a first time, that's actually really good! The only letdown is the hair. If you just make the dark parts dark and light parts light, it would like real shading. The rest is great!
