Pentathalon?

So today, I've been given a paper, along with many others, that will allow me to join the school's pentathalon. I'm not sure if I want to join though, since they'll be giving us even more homework to do. What do you guys think? o;

I'm thinking of joining, but then, I don't want loads of crappy homework. Then again, it's only on Wednesdays and Thursdays for 1 and a half hour. But then I don't like staying after school anymore.

You should always try.
If has something do with homework right?
So won't that help you and stuff.

To simplify it more:

Think of it like your on a sports team.
Staying at school and stuff are like practice's and the homework is like training?

More homework is better you learn more which means more opportunities for jobs. Also that might make a better college if you learn alot. I am in so many clubs and i get loads of homework but in my classes i boom my classmates with knowledge. And you might boom them with knowledge. ( sorry i might give wrong advice because pentathlon is )
