| A sketch of a face. I tried using my this new skill. Rate & critique please! I know her head is kind of circle -ish. I purposely didn't shade on this one. | |

| I really like this, but it looks way too stereotypical. I see improvement. The left yelash should be thicker, so it can represent a woman. The eyes are too far and too high. Use a base for a head, not just a random circle. The back of her hair looks like it has too much strands. I sugget looking at an anime drawing in back view for a reference. The lips are a teensy bit too high. The neck is a bit too skinny. Make it thicker, unless you want to represent someone weak. Look at the part where your head bends, start the neck there. Reference: - Spoiler:
See how the lady's neck starts a few centimeters from where her head bends? You should make the neck a bit more thick so it can look like that picture. The nose is facing the wrong way. Reference: See how the girl is facing forwards? Her nose isn't facing to the left or right. The should be lines on each side. (Yes, this is an anime-ish style.) I really like this drawing, though. I see improvement. 8/10 -- Also, I do not agree with Cake. That's a different style of anime. But the bangs do flow a little low. This man's hair DOES go over his eye, but in this anime style the eye still shows...a bit transparent, though. - Spoiler:

As for this man, it's just a different style of anime. |

| @Toast. I agree with everything other than the eyelashes. i've drawn girls without eyelashes, it's still easy to tell they're a girl by their body and face. P: just take the girls advice, but instead of anime references, use REAL references. these are way more helpful and can help you build your style. | |

Ah, well I make my eyelashes thick even if it's a girl or not. I just don't put as much eyelashes with a boy than I do with a girl. lul. I also agree with using real references. There's all different types of styles. ;pp |
