And, when you say "inaccurate critiques", what if they are accurate but you don't believe it? It's our opinion, sort of.

well,the indian princess was good to me c: I just think that the hands on the other drawings need practice like:
1.Look at your hand,if its skinny then you have a good hand for drawing
(A.K.A. trace your hand and remember how it was cofuseing I know but this really helps!)
2.Are you trying to do REALISTIC drawings or ANIME or maybe even CHIBI all are VERY diferent styles and all take TONS of practice.
Realistic?:look at yourself you're different from how your friend looks huh? EXACTLY! each person is different so make your people look different each time! (A.K.A. maybe make hair shorter or make the person shorter,maybe make her eyes a bit more wide,ect.)
Anime?:This style is hard to master. Look things up like basics and how many styles (as in eyes,fingers, ect.) there are. look up tutorials on how to draw your favorite anime person (maybe rin&len or hatsune miku or maybe people from anime shows you watch)
Chibi?:ths is my personal favorite. Chibi is a cute way of doing anime,eyes are usually wider,some maybe just little dots. I looked at the people from pucca (LOL WHO REMEMBERS THIS SHOW?! 2003 people! LOL) and kinda made them over and over again until I got to the way I am today xD.

Inaccurate critique means like, I did the legs perfect and someone tries to make them crossed and do a dance or somethin' like that.

I can actually draw really well by copying from a picture, but not really well by doing it out of my imagination. ;_; That's the bad thing...

U too? In my grade, u have to do monthly art sketches. OFC, i get an 100, but i just looked at a picture to draw it. i dont trace.

But u r very good at drawing.

But as I said, I'm good at copying from a picture...not good at imagining.

That's how I started I could easily transpose a picture to my own piece of paper. After a while though, you get used to it and eventually you can draw from your imagination!

Sometimes you can use a picture for reference though ^^ It can make things easier.

Of course I kind of am stuck to teaching myself how to draw I might b able to post my pictures on the forum next year though and finally get help from everyone O:

I only need a pic if I never drawn it before. Or someone's asking me to draw it in a stance I forgot how to do. Like a sleeping tiger or the way pigs legs bend.
