HELP ME!! LAPTOP PROBLEM!

My mom's laptop is infected. This program called "Security Shield" is on my mom's laptop. It says that the laptop is infected. In order to remove threats, I have to buy it! I don't wanna buy the program! So, I tried downloading another program to remove the threats, but a window pops up saying that the program contains a virus or a threat or something. And I have to use "Security Shield" to remove the virus and/or threat. I CAN'T REMOVE THE THREATS!!!! HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

I can't! I tried opening "MS Paint" (which is the program I use to take screenshots) and a window pops up saying that it has a virus/threat! MY MOM IS GONNA KILL ME!!! HER LAPTOP IS RUINED!!

Actually, my sister caught a virus like that once.
All you have to do is reset your computer back in time I guess, something like that.

Just tell your parents the truth. If you don't want to, throw it out the window. Since only your parents can easily fix a virus

Its not a program , it's a scam .
All those things that they say infect the computer are provided by the hacking program

Yes. My teacher last year told our class that there are companies out there that send out viruses and also make the programs to get rid of those viruses. It's their way of making money.

@Purplebunny You really should tell your mom if what has already been suggested does not work, but otherwise, it should be fine.
