| The tablets usually do come with programs, but I would recommend getting SAI or photoshop if that is an option for you. (Super expensive). I use a wacom Intuos 4 but it's kind of advanced... I think most people like the Bamboo if it's their first tablet. | |

| Go with a bamboo, they're around $100-$150 so you can even buy SAI if you want..or you could download it illegally...like many others and I...
I usually recommend a Bamboo Connect for very new digital artists, but it isn't a tablet specifically meant for art. Apparently Wacom has come out with a new Bamboo tablet, called the Bamboo splash. It's literally the same as the Bamboo Connect but it's intended for drawing. It's $80, so you will have 120 dollars left. It comes with Autodesk Sketchbook which I wouldn't really recommend for serious art but it's a good doodling program. So you can even buy SAI with the left over money.

| I got the Wacom Bamboo Create. It's retail price is $200, but I got it on Amazon for like $170. However, it's a really big one and the only reason I got it is because I, myself, prefer a larger canvas. But the Bamboo Capture is exactly like the Create, except it is smaller and the pen (which is included in the purchase) does not have a built-in eraser. (And the built-in eraser just means that you can use one end of the pen for drawing and another end of the pen for erasing.) The Capture's retail price is $100, but I'll bet you could get it cheaper on Amazon. And I don't know about the Capture, but the Create does come with Photoshop, which is a really good drawing program for tablet users. Both the Create and the Capture are good beginner tablets, so I strongly recommend getting one or the other, depending on if you want a bigger or smaller screen. | |

| I'm not sure what I have. I looked at it right now and it's a Wacom Bamboo Model MTE-450
I use that tablet and just the Paint tool. The Paint tool came with the laptop.

| Get the new bamboo splash, it's for digital art and it's really affordable... or you can add more money and get the bamboo create ^^. If you are in a professional level get the intuos5 (it's expensive) The capture one is mostly for photo editing | |
