If someone wanted to draw their own way, they wouldn't need a tutorial, right?
This is for people who want to know how other people draw, so they can borrow some techniques.

Lemme answer it anyway.
You see, when you start out, you don't just come up with your own style automatically (I'm still developing mine). You base your drawing off of one you really like, don't you? Because that person... Inspires you in a way. So you look up a drawing tutorial for let's say... Anime. You just started out, you don't know anything yet except that you want to draw. So you follow this guide precisely and that's when you notice; They don't draw the same as other people.
You start being able to draw on your own and see cool things other people do and try them yourself. So your art style becomes a mixture of things you think are cool, and the way you draw naturally and it becomes a symbol of you because someone can take a look at two pieces of art you've made and know that you made them even without a username.
You see, tutorials are usually for beginners or people who just want to learn new tricks.
