Subject: Is my (pathetic) tomato ripening? Tue Jul 24, 2012 2:33 pm
My tomato plant only had one tomato, then it dried up because it didn't have enough sunlihgt or bugs were eating it. So I took the tomato and put it on the windowsill. It was rather small. Then I noticed it was turning orange and yellow! Does this mean it will be red soon? Here it is:

It does! But since you picked it will probably only become a light orange, however you should put the tomato plant outside. They love lots of heat and sunlight, (I grow some where its very hot and sunny).

I can't put it outside I live in an apartment building, so I don't have a backyard or anything like that.

You plant Tomatoes at Winter.... Plant one and give it water every two days. Then it will bring YELLOW flowers. then wait few weeks and it will bring many tomatoes!!!
MAKE SURE YOU PLANT THEM IN WINTER!!!!
And yup it will turn red!but not red red!like orange and red.
