To create a character, press the little paper with the Plus sign on it to make a new layer. Now press the number "0" on your keyboard.


This little "canvas" will open. This is where you get all of the items to customize your own Maplestory character!


To start making a body, go to Character Items>Body Items>Body. You can mix two body colors together! But I would recommend staying with one color.


To get eyes, go to Face Styles. Checkmarking one of those boxes (bottom left) can help make searching easier. Now, when you choose an eye, you have to choose an eye color for it. I chose white.


Alright, I guess the rest is pretty self-explanatory.
If not:
Hair Styles (under Body Items)- Choose Hair
Accessories- Choose face, ear, or eye accessories
Equipment- Choose clothing

Now onto color filters!


Click the little icon that is next to the trash can on "Inventory panel"
This little....."slider" will come up.


The "sun" changes the brightness of the items. Let's say I want her hair darker. I hold down the arrow till I get the brightness I want. (Hey-heads up! Be sure you choose the item you want to change in Inventory Panel!)
I'm not sure what the other ones do... so I guess you can play around with those.

Animations (gifs) can be created with Bannedstory 4. On the bottom of the screen, you will see these items.


You can scroll through the frames that the movements and expressions have. We can talk more about those later.


Check the "Animate" and "Animate Face" boxes to see your Maplestory character come to life! I have saved the animation as a Gif. I will make a tutorial on that later.

The colors and the speed of the movement may mess up, so don't worry about those.
