Since there's people here who don't exactly know how to use Gimp, I've decided to make this to help them know some of the things you can do in Gimp! (With photos too!)

I'll start off with the things you can do in the colors panel thingie.

Spoiler:
First off, we have the channel balance, it helps you balance colors or just do a coloring without having to use textures or make new layers and filling it with various colors and setting it on various layer settings. It's useful when you don't feel like using the curves tool, or if you want to save time.

Spoiler:
As you can see we have the hue/saturation thing in hand. You can play around with it to get a certain coloring you want, be sure to not have it be too saturated or too unsaturated!

Spoiler:
This is the coloriize tool, I suggest that you DON'T use it unless it's necessary, you don't want the coloring to just look like you put no time or effort into it.

Spoiler:
Ah, why yes here we have the brightness/contrast tool. It's quite useful if you want the coloring to fit well or if you have a bad time cropping an image. Make sure to not make the contrast and brightness not go well together.

Spoiler:
This is the infamous color level tool, which I hardly use. This is a more simpler version on the curves, so you can practically get the same results.

Spoiler:
Here we have the curves, something the majority of the graphic designers I see that use Gimp mostly use. This is quite difficult to use, especially if you're going to use the same coloring on other graphics.

Spoiler:
This is the channel mixer tool, this can be use to make simple a simple coloring and is easy to use. If you like the coloring you get from experimenting with it, be sure to write it down so you can use it again!

This is all for the coloring, the next one will be on some of the filters! PM me or post here if you have any tutorial questions or suggestions. I'll get right on them.

The reason why I uninstalled gimp is because I had not a clue what I was doing, but this helps tremendously! Thanks for this, now when I have the time to reinstall I have some sort of directions and tips I can use to help begin learning ^^
