| Oh dear, it's just awful when you crack an iPod or iPhone. Did you have a case on it? Make sure you've got a rubber case on your iPhone, because that will give it an extra cushion of protection. I've always had a rubber case on my iTouch, and it hasn't cracked once (and I drop it all the time). | |

| Try getting a good case and screen protector after you get it fixed. I've dropped my iPhone plenty of times on everything from vinyl flooring to concrete. A hard rubber Speck case and a $20 screen protector you can get from any electronics store is what I use. | |
