| I've been using MMD recently, and I'm lagging a lot. I can't replay my animation since I'm lagging a lot. I've uninstalled lots of programs I don't need anymore, and even restarted my computer, but I don't feel any difference. Is there anyway to reduce it anymore (if lag is the cause of the problem..)? Thanks! | |

| What I do is I turn off the "physical operation".
To turn it off, you should see "physical operation" at the top of the MMD Window. The first three options underneath it are:
-anytime -only playtime -no calculation
Choose the option "no calculation".
Another method I use is close any other applications I have open.

| Reformating doesnt cost anything, But you need a disk to reformat it with.. I dont know how much it would be for you since my mum has a copy ( that wouldnt work since mine is modern ) and my auntie let me use hers.. i think its not too much, You can check about in computer stores and stuff, All you do is 1. Insert the disk 2. Switch on the computer 3. just let it do what it does..
Sometimes it wont be that simple, Alot fo computers are different so yeah just firmly do what it says, I had a virus that wouldnt let me so yeah oh and
is your computer very very hot? Sometimes that can cause lagg but you're best reformating it!

| Yeah, as Weekays said, you could try restoring your computer. It'll completely wipe out everything and your computer will be like new. You'll have to save everything you want to keep on like a flashdrive. Other things you could do is try not to have a lot of tabs/windows open at one time, delete things you don't need anymore (or move them to an online database), and don't let your computer overheat. | |
