School Day [8/22/12]

Okay, so today was my first day of 8th grade. Woo. Hoo. We had a lot of new students so the homeroom teacher required us to wear a name tag. My classes were alright except for this one class. We have this assignment where we memorize something and we'll get a quiz on Friday. Then We'll just keep learning more of it while still memorizing all the previous ones. It's unfair. Really. Social Studies was really funny. We were talking about Ninja Pilgrims and how Abraham Lincoln could never become a vampire hunter. (His tall hat would totally give away his hiding spots) Lunch was alright. I saw a butterfly, but the drink I had strained my teeth red, making me look like a vampire. I BARELY have any classes with my friends, but I guess that's good since I won't be talking as much. In English, my friend pulled this trick on my knee that made me all jittery or something. It's horrible. Spanish class was alright, but the bad thing was that there are only 2 eighth graders, so if the other one is absent...

But I had a pretty good day. Besides the fact that the girl with the locker above me dropped her backpack on my head. Just like she did last year.

We had to do things like that in 7th and 8th grade. Our teacher would give us a packet with some words, and we need to memrize the root word/meaning, and then we kept adding on. By the end of the year we learned about fifty roots. I've always had top lockers so I'm not sure how that feels, is your head alright? o:

Yeah, my head is fine, thanks for asking. I've been under the top-locker girl for one whole year, so I've had books fall on my noggin for 365 days. I'm pretty used to it, but it's kind of annoying.
