Stranded~ RP

"How come?" he asked, backing away a little as Toby seemed to get a little closer to him. Raquelle's right, even if he can't see me he can most certainly hear me, he thought.

"Toby is a name for someone nice. His new name is Killer." She winced at the pain in her hand and frowned at Killer, who seemed to be looking for Lance.

He got up and started floating above him. He sat down in mid-air, eyeing Killer cautiously. "I see. I've always been rather frightened of dogs." he announced.

"Why?" she asked. Sophie loved dogs. Well, not dogs that bite my flesh off.

"Personal experience." he answered quietly.

"Can you tell me?" She liked hearing secrets, even if they were boring or obvious.

"Okay." he answered, "A few years back, when I was still alive, I was walking around my neighborhood. I had a job to water my neighbour's lawns for three dollars each, so as I was walking down to one of their yards, there seemed to be a stray dog. It was very cute, no doubt about that. My mother had always told me never to pet animals you don't know, so I tried to stay my distance. It followed me as a I walked down to her yard. Eventually, I had to stop to tie my shoe. As I crouched down, it quickened its pace and bit my hand. Since then, my left hand has always been a tad weaker, and I've been frightened of the little things."

Raquelle

I heard Lance telling his story. "Aww.." I said.

Lance looked over and saw Raquelle. "Hello, Raquelle." he said.

Raquelle

"Hey.." I said. I carried the baby jaguar. "Her name is Charm." I said. I gently stroked her furry body.

"She's really cute!" he exclaimed, while starting to pet the little jaguar. "I like her name" he said.

Raquelle
(Suspense starts.. NOW!)
"I do too." I said. I heard a scream. Now there were two screams, three.. Four...

Mimo heard screaming. The dog started barking. It jumped out of her arms and ran towards the screams. Mimo runs after the dog. She stops when she sees shadowy figures. Hey! It's Lance and Sophie! Well, there's no time to stop. Mimo keeps running after the dog.

Sophie was thinking about Lance's story when she heard a scream. No, multiple screams. "What was that?" she asked, glancing frantically around her.

"Hey, wait up!" Mimo screams after the dog. The dog was getting farther away. The screams were getting louder. She stops running after the dog.

"Who is screaming?" asked Sophie once again, this time not expecting an answer. This was a rhetorical question. Whoever was screaming needed to stop.

"I think we should investigate." he answered. He wanted to know the cause of the screaming very much.

Sophie didn't want to go because her hand was still dripping, but she agreed anyway.

He nodded and floated towards the edge of the village, peering around the woods for anything suspicious. "I don't see anything, maybe it's a little further in." he said.

Sophie followed, looking for anything to help stop her hand. She noticed Killer was following her, but she didn't care.

He went a little quicker, still looking for the source of the scream. I hope it's not another ghost, he thought.

"OWNER OF THE SCREAM, PLEASE COME HERE!" screamed Sophie at the top of her lungs. Maybe the screamer was scared and needed someone's presence.

"What do you think screamed?" he asked. He was rather curious and could not wait to find out.

I giggled. I stopped when the scream ended.

"It stopped." he said quietly. It came out of no where and it suddenly stopped. Something wasn't right here.
