Okay, how do I make a banner using GIMP?
I want it to be like the ArtSticky banner.. but I can't! And how do you rotate a piece of text, so it goes diagonal?
This is what it looks like:

It's so ugly:

Wrong section. Moved from Graphics to Art Discussion and Tutorials.

Also, for future reference, if you have a question on how to make a banner or signature or whatever, it goes in Art Discussion and Tutorials. I understand that you may have been a little confused since this is the graphics section.

I suggest you try Paint.NET first, it is easier for me to work on.

You can rotate it using the rotate tool.

I use Paint, Paint.NET, and GIMP 2.0 to make this.

Where IS the rotate tool?

In Paint.NET, select the text and rightclick it to rotate. As long as you press the key, you can use the mouse to rotate.

Oh, okay.. but how do you make NICE banners? Like in the artisticky banner there is a faint lined background.
