Help please?

One of the problems I've been having with drawing is that first I draw an awesome hand/paw. Only to discover that I cannot make the other one quite the same as the first. Always comes out too fat, or too big, or too small, or too skinny.

I had that problem while drawing bearcatt in paint but I just copied my original paw and pasted it into the three other places.

But I don't draw digital very often. Ever heard of magically copying and pasting in real life?

So tips please?

Unless you trace it....

Nah I don't like to trace. Even if it's my own work. ._.

word of advice for making the paws match: look carefully at the shape of the lines on the first paw. then just do your best to mirror those lines on the other one. dont expect to get the other paw perfect on the first try. a lot of times my sketches can be pretty messy because i fix up my eyes/feet/whatever with several lines.

but overall, it just takes a lot of practice!

Buy one of those symmetrical mirrors, that should do the trick.
