| All you have to do is get the color you want the recolor to be. Then with the "pick a color tool" right click the color you want the recolor to be Then click the eraser and the color has been changed then right click while recoloring the fantagian's hair or clothes.
Warning: This only works for some computers. | |

Warning: This only works for some computers. Thanks Snowflake!!I owe you one I did the eraser one,but when I right click..it doesn't colour anything help? Oh dear, I think I went a little overboard on this. Warning: it's long. - Click for tutorial:
1. Open up microsoft paint (or anything else. I'll be using MS Paint for this). I'm going to include a picture with every step so hopefully it'll be easier to understand. http://prntscr.com/kxj4j
2. Alright, so we have MS Paint open. Now find your image (make sure it's a .png!) and load it on. Your screen should look like this now. http://prntscr.com/kxjzu
3. Okay, so click the eyedropper tool and then select the colour that you want to recolour. (Eyedropper tool looks like this: http://prntscr.com/kxk10 it's the top left corner) Use your left mouse button to pick the colour that you want to recolour (aka the original colour). The colour palette will now look like this. http://prntscr.com/kxk52 I'm recolouring the lightest part of the hair, by the way.
4. Next, click the eyedropper tool once again and this time right click a colour on the pallete that you want to change it to. If you want to be more advanced as you go about this, you can double click with the right mouse button and then a screen will pop up. It'll kinda look like this: http://prntscr.com/kxk98 If you click "define custom colours," then a little window on the side will pop up, like this: http://prntscr.com/kxkap If you move the mouse around while clicking on the right side of the spectrum, then you can even change what colour you chose. I chose yellow, and to change the shade of yellow, you can slide up the little bar on the right (up or down; up being light, down being darker). Since I'm going to be recolouring a light colour, I'm going to want to choose a light colour.
5. Once you've chosen your new colour, the secondary colour will change to the colour you want. http://prntscr.com/kxkgc
6. Okay, now this part is a little tricky. Click on the eraser tool (http://prntscr.com/kxkhm). Now that we have the eraser selected, set the size on the highest it can be (don't worry, there's a reason for this). Now, hold down the right mouse button and drag it around the part you want to recolour. I know the change may (or may not) be noticeable, depending on what you're recolouring it to. For example, if you recolour something from dark red to a sky blue, then you'll most likely notice the change. Here, when I'm recolouring something from a light brown to a light yellow, it's kinda hard to tell the difference, but it is there. It'll look like this now (also you can zoom in, but i just perfer it at this range. It's more comfortable for me but if you find it easier to zoom in as far as you can, go right ahead): http://prntscr.com/kxkno
7. Great! Now use the eyedropper tool and select the next shade. Be careful that it is infact the next shade that is lighter/darker, depending on where you started. Do not skip a shade, it'll end up for more work in the end. http://prntscr.com/kxks8 You'll notice the first colour on my palette has changed.
8. Now select the eyedropper once more and this time double right click the place on the pallete you used to recolour. Like, if you used a blue to recolour with (meaning that the hair or whatever is going to be blue), then click the same shade of blue that you used. It's not the same as the default one if you messed around with it in the settings like me. Anyways, the same window will fly open and you can mess around with the shades again. If you're starting from the top and making your shades darker each time, slide it down a little for each shade. If you're making it lighter each time, make sure you started out with a dark colour and that you're slowly moving it up each time you get to a different shade. http://prntscr.com/kxl05
9. Repeat step six through eight until you're finished. When it's done it'll look like this: http://prntscr.com/kxlj7 or this http://prntscr.com/kxljq Also I used Windows Vista with an old version of Paint. If you have windows 8 and/or a newer version of Paint I'm sure you could find a way to work with it. uvu
And there you have it! | |

| Select the color you want to rid of in the first square. Click on the other then pick a color you want to replace it with. Right click then scribble your hearts content.
I'm horrible at explaining things |
