| I don't really understand why drawing hands is so hard. (did that sound mean? o.o I didn't mean to...) I mean, I think the problem is the fingers? People make them all the same sizes, well... Take a look at your hands/fingers. I can positively guarantee you they are not all the same size. The middle finger is biggest, then the index finger, then the pointer finger, pinky, and thumb. Most of the time, that is. Some people's are a bit different (pointer and index finger switched), but my point is they are not all the exact same size. The only other problem would probably be wrists, people draw the wrist the same size as the rest of the arm, when the wrist is supposed to get wider. If you have problems drawing hands, or anything really, just google it. But I do hope this helps some people. | |

| @silent night, i completely agree w/ your top post, however!!!!i would like to add that many people don't often include the palm of the hand. the palm is half of the hand; do not forget it.also!!! keep in mind the finger/palm ratio!! like, i've seen some people draw chubby fingers on skinny/normal palms. there's nothing wrong with chubby fingers, but don't put them on skinny hands!! skinny hand= skinny fingers, while chubby hand=chubby fingers. like, - here's what i mean:

| Do you mean hands on an anime character/human character in full or just a plain hand itself?
Hands are personally my favorite things to draw, because some how they can mean so much things. They are also the easiest, funnest part to do.
I think it's hard to draw hands for a full person because you have so many pose and you have such a little space to work with that you won't be able to get your pose correctly?
While drawing "just a hand" helps you form your pose with your own hand.
But yeah, I don't think hands are hard to draw either, just takes practice. | |

| I can draw hands by themselves fine, but I always mess up on a full body so I usually do mitten hands. Yeah the fingers I guess. | |
