You jump into the kitchen and open the cabinets, and you have a urge to do something stupid. So you smash all of the dishes and tape them together. Your maturity and sanity is probably lost by now.
Suddenly, you hear noises coming from the stairs. You realize you have been doing really stupid stuff that you would normally never have done. You smack your face and start to worry.
