| - The plot:
Everyone in your village is the same, no one can see colors. Instead of cars in your little village it is bikes. Each "family" has a boy and a girl kid. In your family unit your mom stays home and your dad goes to work at his job. At each dinner you say your feelings and a prayer. In the morning you go to school but since you are turning 12 pretty soon you will be a trainee of a job. The job you get assigned is called the giver, you learn about how the world used to be by the old giver. You soon learn what colors are and you live your life. You find out your best friend hair color is and what color your hair is. You learn lots of stuff but you also learn bad stuff like wars. The giver is a big job but since there is usually 5-6 givers in each town you all learn about the same stuff. Last thing sorry it was so long but at the end you try to escape.
- rules:
-be nice to other "givers"
-You can have romance but keep it at pg
-Give othe givers some memories like snow or something
