Thana listened to Caroline closely and completely understood what she was going through.
After a little bit of silence she spoke, "Well, before people turned and all I was in my senior yer of high school and had just met the woman of my dreams-- which was weird because before then I considered myself strictly straight... Butsomething about her..." Thana paused to think for a bit before speaking again. "ahem, anyway her name was Josie and she was a model from an agency I used to work at for volunteer hours. I lived in Miami at the time with my mother, father and sister, Janet. My family adored Josie and didn't mind my bisexuality because my older sister, Janet, is a lesbian. For the first few months things were.... Wereee... Thing were perfect," she said at last dreamily, but then her face darkened. "however, my sister... My sister sorta began to fall for Josie... And one time .... I walked into Janet's room to get Josie's stuff (we had a slumber party with my sister...) and they were... Kissing each other.." Thana began to tear up and started the car up. "Ashamed, Janet, I assume, fled to south carolina to get away from it all and I patched back up my relationship with Josie... A week later the virus struck my parents died, my sister was MIA and Josie.... Josie was...." she stopped right there unable to bear the feelings anymore. She quickly or a stone cold look on her face and rigidly began to back the car up before driving at a leisurely pace.

Caroline put a hand on Thana's shoulder. " Don't worry. Trust me, everything will be better! And, I won't turn. And as long as were together, I won't let you OR Jamie turn. I PROMISE."

Mila watched Athena and her father with an annoyed look on her face. They had a kid and she had been foolish enough to not notice it? She knew the kid would simply slow everyone down and if she was going to stay with these people then she had to get rid of the baby somehow. She could try to kill it, but that would most likely just get her caught and she knew she didn't want that to happen.
