"Grenade" - Bruno Mars Cover

Today I decided to sing "Grenade" by Bruno Mars for you guys. I know it's not that good, and I was singing too loud but oh well. It was worth a shot. :P

Also, I wasn't wearing any makeup in this so I look.. not normal.

I have considered taking vocal lessons, but I'm not sure I'd be able to turn my talent and dream into a career. I'm trying to be realistic and either become a pediatrician or a lawyer. But I'd love to, I just don't think I have the guts to. Although I am great with public speaking, I can also act.

some of the notes sound a bit flat or sharp, and sometimes the rhythm is a bit off BUT DARN IT YOU ARE SO GOOD

Oh my glob your so good at singing! Once it was done I was like I need to watch it again! I really like it. Your a very good singer and you should totally get some classes and stuff you could be as good as uhm singers I really like it.

charlene you have a beautiful voice! and remember you can always try to gain a professional singing career if you really want to. next time, try recording when your alone or you know there's no background noise because it was hard to hear you in some parts.

As for the background noise, my brother has autism and he can't control if he makes odd sounds and such, but I'll try to get him to be quiet for the time being of my videos.

Its good,but you were off at a point you got off key with the music and it sounded a bit off.

But overall you did good.

Yeah, because I changed the key on a software and after the first chorus I forgot that the pitch was changed so I restored to the original, then went back to the one I chose.

It's really good! My advice for you is for when you're waning on your notes: sucker punch them. They get weaker so try to push more air from your stomach into your singing. You have an excellent belting voice - use it to your advantage! I also noticed that you would try to vocalize exactly how the original singer would. Make the song really yours. Add your own embellishments - no one can sing exactly like the original singer. Your voice is just-- wow. You're definitely in that R&B/Soul category.
If you really want to get vocal lessons, why not give it a try? You could also just join your school's choir. And cooool I like to act, too!

I actually didn't replicate the artist. I added my own run at the end, and I sang it at a different pitch, I didn't even use the actual karaoke - this was more of a dramatic one. Thank you, anybody else? Feel free to rate.
