| If you love me you'll vote.
I like drawing now and I want to do more. Should I do traditional or digital? Just for a starting.

| Both actually! Start out traditional, try sketching and stuff When you feel confident in your art, try digital ^^ |

| uh guys both digital and traditional are equally hard, colouring in traditional i consider a lot harder because in digital its easier for things to come smoother i prefer traditional but just because i think digital is reALLLY BORING. but thats just me. start with what you want | |

| for me, i think traditional is better to start out with, because it helps you learn the skills faster. with traditional, you can have it right in front of you and you can familiarize yourself with tools and textures. whereas doing digital art, you're looking up at a screen the whole time, so it's much harder for you to coordinate and understand spacing.
but keep in mind that digital art takes a lot longer to get used to, because it's a whole different setting and you'll have to learn to adjust between paper and computer. if you think you'll be focusing mainly on digital art, you might want to start out simple and move quickly into digital art. just remember that both digital and traditional art are equally important, and most professional artists can do well in both mediums!
if i were you, i would start with notebook paper or a paper that's comfy for you (i prefer notebook paper just because it's softer and has lines to help with spacing) and any kind of pen/pencil you want. get some drawing books, look up tutorials on youtube, etc. and try to understand the basics of drawing first. practice, practice, practice!! do not get any fancy materials until you're really serious about art, because 1. you might find the materials aren't at all what you expected/are comfortable with using 2. you might discover art isn't really your thing 3. you might not understand what its purpose is
sorry for the huge wall of text, kudos to anyone who read it all. good luck drawing!

| I agree with hop.
They are both hard, but my sister told me if you want to learn digital learn traditional first. That way you know how to draw a bit better. It will take you time to learn both but you will get it.
