Puella Magi - RP

And so we begin the RP.
Those of you who have not yet made an application but want to join may do so until the deadline of next Saturday.

Saeko snatched her soul gem out of her pocket, trying to find the witch she left behind the day before. She could still detect it's trail, and she followed it. A couple blocks from the barrier entrance she looked behind her and to the sides, trying to determine where she was. Some long abandoned part of the city. Perfect for witch-hunting. She smirked, changing into her magical girl outfit; a rather provocative pale blue dress with a large matching hat and high-heeled boots. Normally this wouldn't make for good battle attire, but tripping wasn't normally an issue seeing as both opponents used magic. Besides, she would probably die before she hit 18, so safety had no affect on what she wore into the barriers. She tapped her soul gem, turning it into a thin bracelet and sliding it over her wrist. Then she stepped into the barrier, ready for a good fight.

Keiko sighs, fiddling with her blue soul-gem. Although she had just replenished yesterday, it had already gotten a muddy coat do to her wasting her powers on some familiars. She had no choice but to replenish it. Keiko sighs yet again, standing up as she stretches. She adjusts her sailor hat, and decides she's going to attempt to find a Witch. She hated having her soul-gem looking muddy. She taps it, and it turns into a silver ring with a blue gem on the front. Keiko slips it onto the pinkie on her right hand, and skips out of her room, down the stairs, and out of her house. When no one is looking, she takes the ring out, and it turns into her soul gem. " There's got to be a witch around here somewhere" She murmurs to herself.

{Is it okay if Keiko and Saeko meet up accidentally in the same barrier?}

The inside of the barrier was covered sky-high in snow. It took Saeko a while to trudge through it in her heels. She summoned a few knives. There should be some familiars around. She thought, looking back over her shoulder for pursuers, be they familiar or fellow magical girl. No sign of the witch or her familiars yet. The area seemed to go on forever.

Just as Keiko was going to give up, her soul-gem started to glow brightly. She found a barrier. Excited, Keiko trudges through the snow. She seen something in-front of her...Another Magical Girl?!

The snow muffled Keiko's footsteps enough that Saeko couldn't hear her immediately. She was getting tired of walking so she turned around to try another direction. There was Keiko. "Looking for the witch as well, huh?" She said slyly. "I suppose I wouldn't mind having a companion, just this once." She held all her knives in one hand at her side, showing Keiko she wasn't about to attack. "Just remember, if you help me and I help you, half the rewards are mine. Understand?" She sat down in the snow, waiting for an answer. And fell right through it into a hidden section of the barrier.

"Woah!" Keiko yelped, running to grab Saeko's hand. However, she wasn't strong enough to hold them both up, so she ended up tumbling down, too. Keiko's boot got stuck in some of the snow, though, so they were left dangling for dear life.

"Let go." Saeko said determinedly. "I can save both of us if you follow my moves." She proceeded to release Keiko's hand, drop a foot or two, stop herself in midair with her powers, then drop the rest of the way, landing smartly on her feet. "Okay, on the count of three, I want you to fall. You'll be okay, I promise. Ready? 1....2..." Saeko started counting, gripping her knives in case the witch attacked before she could help Keiko. It had to be down here.

Keiko let go, gulping.

Aya saw a girl falling down a ledge. "Oh my gosh!!" Other magical girls. Woah.

 "...3!" Saeko finished just as Kieko let go, watching her fall before stopping her and then letting her fall all the way to the floor. "See? I told you it wouldn't be that bad." Saeko said with a sassy flip of her hair. "Stand up. I think some of the witch's familiars have found us." Several groups of what appeared to be disembodied paws started digging their way through the snow. Saeko threw a knife at one....
9 - and kills it instantly.

One jumps out at her...
7 - and hits as well. Saeko is now at 7 HP.

"Hey!" Keiko yelled, quickly summoning her bow and arrows. She didn't have time to transform. She loaded and arrow, and aimed at the familiar that attacked Saeko.

8- The familiar lost one HP. It has one left.

Saeko twisted her body around, aiming a kick at the familiar currently being attacked.

3 - she misses. Saeko yells in rage, summoning more knives to prepare her next attack.

Keiko takes this opportunity to transform, so she can use her other magic. Keiko's drab sailor suit is replaced with her Magical Girl outfit; a white dress covered in paint, with a worn out brown painter's apron that has the paper and paint brushes she uses to draw so she can summon what she draws. She keeps the bow and arrow on her back, and flips out the paper and paintbrush. Quickly, but neatly, she draws a beast; one with sharp teeth and black fur, and glowing red eyes. Foam drips out of its mouth. She summons it. The beast appears in-front of her. She points to a group of familiars. "ATTACK!" She commands.

There's five Familiars:

First- 6. One HP is lost.
Second- 1. A miss.
Third- 3. A miss.
Fourth- 7. A hit. One HP is lost.
Five- 10. A hit. 2 HP is lost. This familiar dies.

Saeko whips out two knives at once and throws them simultaneously at the first and fourth familiars.

5 - the first familiar is narrowly hit and dies.

2 - Saeko misses the fourth.

"How many of these guys is this witch going to throw at us?" Saeko says loudly, vaulting up into the air to avoid the familiars. "There can't be that many. I've only seen this witch once before, so it must be new."

"It would be smarter if we just attacked the Witch itself. Then, all the familiars would be gone. We're wasting precious magic power!" Keiko yelled.

She sent the beast back, and it transported into the sketchbook she kept of previous drawings, if she didn't have time to make a new one.

Keiko flipped out her paintbrush, and painted a flying device. A hoverboard. She jumped on. " C'mon!" She yelled to Saeko.

 "Good idea." Saeko said, flipping through the air and landing on the hoverboard. "Think you know where the witch is?" She sat down, gripping the sides of the machine to avoid falling.

"Nope, but we're going to find out." Keiko flipped to her beast painting, and drew "Super scent!"

She summoned him. "He'll sniff us to her."

The beast began to run, sniffing.

Keiko started the Hover-board, and they zoomed forward, just behind the beast.

Emaka looked around for the other members of HopefulSouls. "Ugh, no one's around," she thought. She roamed the streets in her normal Tokyo Arts school uniform, and then got a strong signal. "A witch!" Emaka exclaimed. She followed the signal watching her gem get brighter and brighter until she reached a barrier. She transformed and went inside. Emaka grabbed onto a vine, and swung from it to get more shots from higher in the air. "Hey!" She snapped her head at a sitting familiar and shot it with a gun she pulled out of her shield.

Aya was separted from everyone else in that group. She wanted to take down that witch.

The hoverboard stopped suddenly. Saeko couldn't see the witch at first, but soon enough it noticed her and Keiko. It didn't attack immediately, so Saeko got a good look at it. It was in the shape of a butterfly, with wings that sparkled like crystal. Before she could tell anything else about it, the witch dived at both girls, slashing at them with razor sharp wings.

7 - It hits Keiko. Keiko has 7 HP left.

Saeko didn't wait for it to attack again, and she started slashing at the witch with a knife

8- she hits. The witch has 7 HP left as well.

"Yo, guys!" An explosion occurs in the background and parts of familiars are everywhere. Emaka walked out of the explosion looking awesome, and then she said, "Ya want any help destroying that witch?"

You have to use a Random Number generator to determine if they actually exploded.

9- The familiars explode.
CONTINUING

"I'm sure you need help with that witch," Emaka said, "So I'll give you a hand." She opened her hands and a stick appeared. She threw the stick and it became her scythe. "Let's go!" Emaka charged toward the witch.

7- Emaka hits enough for the witch to lose 1 HP.

You have to do it for every single familiar. Sigh.

Keiko ignored her wound, and used her Paint Brush to paint a gigantic gun that shoots cannons. She summoned it, and fire three cannons at it.

First Cannon-
7- Hit. 1 HP lost. 5 HP left for this which.
Second Cannon-
2- Miss.
4- Miss.

Aya got out her sword and looked at the other magical girls. "Hey, Are you trying to catch the witch?" Aya whispered swiftly to the one named Keiko.
