I think not, because in the past years dA has been a quite glitches and rude people,hackers,art theifts, and it's really hard to get recognized.
As for the positives you can meet new friends,your art being expressed and Favorited and it can be friendly uvu And if your artistic or wise enough to open points up ach 1000= 1 dollar if you do make quality beautiful art and dA does crits alot and improvements!
So my answer short is yes/no. uvu depends on you~ | |

when you submit your art you're allowed to make it into something called a print, which is basically your art on a nice sheet of paper (hard to explain um) that other users can buy. you could also open up commisions, which are requests that cost money. but as stephu said, you'd need a paypal account. | |
