Survivor [RP] - Remade by Jeff and Voldemort

((Where is everyone, where is my character? What happened?))

((Derp okay me, colorora and Twist are all together and you are here too. We are working our way to make a fire and get fresh water and coconut milk. I think it's the early morning and the sun is in the sky. Jeff is wandering in the forest.))

"I'd say we wait about 5-10 minutes and then decide if we should heat it more. As for the coconut milk, you can just drink it, straight from the shell. It's nice and bittersweet, I've had it before." Clarisse smiled and looked down at the other half of the shell, which was filled to the top with the coconut water. "It's actually coconut water, I think. The milk is the stuff on the side grated into a liquid. So how will we split it?" She said. She worked her way through another coconut unsuccessfully and took a sharp stick instead and stuck it through the area she was hitting. Weakened, a hole began to form and she began to create a nice sized hole she could fit her index finger through.

"I'm not sure, how do we know these coconuts are good?" Katie questioned, she watched as Clarisse tried to open the coconut, unsuccessful at first but creating a small hole afterwards. She sat down and hugged herself, it was around early morning and a bit chilly.

"I guess it depends on the amount of coconut water in them." Clarisse air-sipped a bit of the coconut water and licked her lips. "It tastes pretty normal to me. We can drink this and the water..." Clarisse paused for a moment, as if something disturbed her. She then resumed talking. "So we can have an ample supply of liquid to keep ourselves alive for the next twenty years. We need food, though, so I suggest we could go and hunt something in the woods. It's funny, really, how we're progressing so much. Water on the second day and now we're talking about hunting. This might not be so bad. What next? A farm?" Clarisse laughed. "We'd never get that far. Somebody will find us soon."

Julie had wandered away from the group, "Uh, I'll go look for things in the forest, hopefully I can find some fruit.." She had waved to her group. Julie was freezing, "C'mon Julie, its only like, the morning.". She realized she became comfortable with the group. Julie had found dead locusts, small seeds, and dirt. "Hopefully these seeds might be helpful.", then, something caught her eye. A small dirty, old Lonch ness monster toy. She thought it was the most beautiful thing she saw. She named him Beau. Meaning handsome in French. (Animal crossing Beau the deer reference anyone?) She rushed to the group, "Guys! I found some seeds and a beautiful toy!"

"20 years?! I can't wait 20 years.. We should be planning an escape or something after we're sturdy.. And there's no fresh water, we can't drink from the ocean it's high in salt.. We'd die of thirst!" she replied, arms up in the air from concern. Katie had remembered what her teachers told her after all, for a change.

Clarisse eyed the lochness monster toy. It was in pretty good shape if it had been on the island for such a long time. She stared, and the toy stared back. "It's covered in bug juice." was all she said. She flicked off an old locust wing. "But it's a pretty nice toy. Someone else might have lived here and dropped it while getting some things." She remembered her sister, who had a stuffed penguin. Her eyes became sad, but she quickly erased the emotion away from her face. "Did you say something about seeds? We could plant them to see what they make. Hopefully not more pine trees. And yes, the water DOES contain salt. But we still have coconut water!" Clarisse smiled, but was nervous. Katie was right about the water, but purifying it like this was worth a shot. "Let's check the water and see if it's ready."

Delilah had a sip of the coconut milk/water " This is awesome! " she exclaimed " ya know its kinda weird how nobody has really called about help because it would probably all over the news ". " Do you think everybody else is getting along well to? " she asked " well probably not as good as us " she answered herself." So if were gonna stay together we might as well know a little bit about each other Ill start, Im Delilah I am 16 years old and i'm from California "  she said.

"I'm Clarisse, I'm 13 years old and I'm allergic to peanuts but not other nuts. My favorite novel is Lord of the Flies and I'm from Queens, New York. I have a sister and I like to snorkel. I have seen a sting ray, some whale sharks, a lion fish, two eels, a starfish and lots and lots of crazy looking fish and coral. I've never seen a mermaid, and I probaby never will." Clarisse said, with a grim look on her face. "The water is ready." She took the coconut off the fire and placed it on the sand. She drank some coconut water and quickly ran out. Guess it wasn't a very good coconut. She pried the coconut shell open and broke it in half. She filled one half with more water and placed it on the fire. She ripped a piece of her shirt off and placed it over the other coconut. She held it on tightly and poured a small amout of water on it. The water seeped trough the thin fabric and she let it sit for a while. Then she took the fabric off and drank the water. "It's nt that bad." Carrise said. "Not too salty."

Oliver finally decided to let himself rest. He was pretty unsure as to how he was going to survive the next couple days. I'll find a way.  He reassured himself, crawling into a cave he was pretty sure was too small for bears. ...I think.

After a while, Tom waved off the stranger, deciding to continue to explore the island. He quickly wished him farewell, deciding it would be wise to try and search for a safe place to settle down before nightfall, and perhaps find some edible sustenance if possible.

Oliver woke up a half hour later. He really wished he knew how people who were faced such dire circumstances were supposed to act. Getting help was out of the question, as his phone was dead and he lost the others hours ago. Maybe even days. There was no reliable way to track time, and it was quite likely the time he had left before he either died of starvation or exhaustion was rapidly decreasing.

As Tom was about to set out on his hunt for food, he realized that there might be some leftovers at the ship-wreck and decided it would be wise to go back and investigate. It wasn't as if his original plan would probably me more successful, anyway. The only thing that could possibly go wrong, he figured, would be if he managed to get lost on his trip back. The more he weighed on this possibility, though, the more unsure he was of this task. He already had no idea where he was, and it wasn't like he had a compass or map or anything either.

Clarisse climbed up a large pine tree and looked out at the vast forest. She once again saw the three rivers and the waterfall, and immediately facepalmed when she got down from the pine tree. "How could I be so stupid? There were three rivers on this island and I totally forgot about them! They must have fresh water." Clarisse picked up a coconut half and trudged over to the pine forest. "I'm going to see if one of the rivers has fresh water. It's not too far from here. Anyone who wants to come can come along." She walked into the forest, making loud crunching sounds as she went deeper into the maze of trees. Her purple sandals with pink lilies on them were wearing thin.

Oliver left the cave, but gave up on running or trying to find the others. "Only pines...there's nothing edible, is there." He said to himself. "Dying here doesn't sound that bad, actually."  He wandered the forest, carelessly brushing pine needles out of his hair.

" I'll come " said Delilah as she picked up another coconut half  nobody should be left alone here it could be dangerous! " she said and followed her.

"Thanks," Clarisse said as she continued among the pines. She suddenly stopped for a second. "D-do you hear that? It sounds like someone...or something...is nearby. Do you think we should be ready to attack? Whatever it is, it could be dangerous." Clarisse picked up a sharp stick. "Just in case." She continued to walk, but she tip-toed softly and flinched everytime she heard a twig snap under her foot. There is nothing here. No bears. If there were, I would'e heard one. Of course, there were wolves...what am I thinking. I won't be killed by a bunch of wolves. Clarisse's mind was crowded with these frightening thoughts. She continued to walk, trying to regain confidence. Everything will be fine, she thought.

Julie ran after the girls, "Waaait! I don't wanna be left here alone!" Julie looked around, "I don't see anything." Julie picked up a few pebbles and followed Clarisse. "Hey..aren't I supposed to be the older one?? I should be the leader!" Julie thought. Oh well.

As Clarisse, Delilah and Julie got to the stream Delilah said " well i'v got my pocket knife, turned out to be pretty useful " " it's not much but it can easily make something bleed " she said. She picked up a  of little bit of water with her finger " so how do we test to see if it's good or not? do we just taste it? " she asked Clarisse " wow Clarisse is amazing at survival " she thought.

Katie slowly walked alongside the group, unsure of where they were going or what they were doing, all she could think about was how right now she'd be in her motel room or even at the hotel gym, getting some exercise before the big match the next day.

Clarisse stopped in front of the river. She gave a look like something smelled really, really bad. "Just taste it and then spit it out. It's the best way." Clarisse dipped her coconut into the water. She held her nose and tasted a bit and spit it out. "It tastes like dirt. But I think it's fresh. It might be easier to tell if we purify it, but it tastes fresh to me." She lookedinto the water, and spied on the fish. "If freshwater fish live here, it has to be fresh. I see...a trout! They're freshwater! Unless it's a saltwater trout...but there aren't any saltwater trouts...have you ever seen a saltwater trout?" Clarisse looked at everyone else, like she expected some fish expert answer. She sighed and filled her coconut half to the top. She picked up a nearby pebble and tossed it into the water. One...two...three...four...five. I can never get to six. She threw a few more into the water.

" well, " Delilah said " you could put your hand over your coconut, pour it over my coconut and see if we filter out any dirt like a strainer " Delilah said. Atleast SHE thought it was a good idea.

"That's a great idea! Let's try it." Clarisse said happily, glad to allow someone else think up the ideas. She covered the top of her coconut half with her hand, in which the palm covered the entire area. She poured the water into Delilah's coconut and found the water much clearer. Her hand, however, had tons of fish scales annd grime on it. Gross. Clarisse went to wash her hands in the river when she noticed a glint in the pile of mush. She picked it out of the dirt and washed everything else off. She eyed the small yellow dot and recgonized it as gold. This island was a gold mine. "Hey, there's gold in the river!" she said. But her smile faded. They were stranded on an island. Here, a piece of gold isn't worth 100,000 dollars. It was about as valuble as the fish scales in the lake. Nice to have anyway. "At least we'll die rich." She fake laughed greedily, as if the gold had taken over her mind. "Mwahahaha!"

Oliver was still wandering, trying to remember what kinds of edible plants grew in this sort of environment. Out of nowhere came high, false laughter. Looks like I found these guys again. He thought, exasperated but hopeful. He took a few steps forward, trying to figure out what they were doing and their mental state. An insane partner would be no more than a burden, but an intelligent one could very well save his life.

Tom began wondering if perhaps you could eat leaves. He knew that one could not live completely off of leaves, but maybe it would do for now. He'd just have to find some leaves that weren't poisonous, if possible. He actually didn't know anything about leaves, but at this point he was willing to risk a chance with whatever he could get his hands on.
