| okay, so, this was a dream i had~ it was actually pretty cool. i actually would like to try making a movie out of it. THERE ARE SEQUELS... OYES. oh, the most recent chapter won't be in a spoiler, but when i post the chapter AFTER that, i'll put the older ones in spoilers. K HURR WE GO; --- - CHAPTER ONE:
I'm your average twelve-year-old girl with cat ears who has no idea what's in store for her. As usual, I went to bed expecting the cat to wake me up around midnight, like he normally does, so I can let him inside the house. Laying in bed, thinking about tomorrow, how I'd just go through the same old thing – get up, take a shower, eat my breakfast, go to school, and so on; when I heard a thud. It wasn't even midnight yet, but I figured maybe the cat wanted to come home early. Getting on my slippers to let him in, I heard another thud. I paused, thinking, Socks knows not to thud more than once; so my guess was there was something up. Grabbing my bat and putting on my slippers, I cautiously headed down the stairs. At the end of the hall leading to the library, I saw what looked like a man's shadow. He appeared to be holding something; it was shaped like my mom's box of antiques. Stepping behind the large grandfather clock we have in the hallway, I eavesdropped on their conversation. “'Ey, Rai, should we bring this box of antiques?” the guy at the end of the hall hollered, but quietly. “I don't know. I think we have enough,” a voice replied. I had the sudden urge to sneeze. Panicking, I sneezed into my elbow, hoping I muffled the sound enough. “...Did you hear that?” Nope. I didn't; I continued eavesdropping, however – the man who went by the name 'Rai' sounded kind of scared when he asked the question. “No, boss. I d'no, I didn't hear anything...” the man at the end of the hall replied. I laughed a bit. The supposed henchmen sounded pretty stupid. Maybe I could knock him over the back of the head with my bat, then scare Rai off. Then I realized maybe I shouldn't have laughed. “Did you hear that?” “Uh oh...” I whispered, reaching for my bat. “Yup, boss, I heard it that time. I'll make sound go byebye.” I peaked around the corner of the clock, and saw his shadow putting down the box. He was apparently pulling something out of his pocket, judging by his shadow. Then a gun started coming around the corner of the hall. “Oh crap,” I muttered, turning to find a place to hide. The living room won't work – it's too spacious and open, so I creap-ran quietly through the house. I practically urched to a stop in the kitchen, thinking, the lazy susan! I decided I would try squeezing in there. Wow, I actually fit. I chuckled, then eased the lazy susan door shut.
CHAPTER TWO: I woke up and realized there was daylight outside. “...Daylight? How?” I muttered to myself, and opened the lazy susan door. Crawling out, I put my hands on sand. “...Wait – SAND?!” I shouted, wondering what in the heck was going on. While I was walking around, puzzled and shocked, something TOTALLY out of the ordinary happened. •{===}• Out of the sand sprang a large sand worm that appeared to be made of rock, which was carved perfectly round. There were segments of the creature's body and they weren't connected, they were just floating near each other. I leapt back, trying to find my bat and then remembering I had dropped it; why would I do that? It was my only weapon. Forgetting the creature was there, I started smacking myself on the forehead. “STUPID, STUPID, STUPID.” Then there was a roar. It came from the sand-worm-creature-thing. Guessing that meant “YOU LOOK TASTY!” I took off running towards where I remembered the lazy susan was. I was feet away from it, and the sand-worm was inches behind me. “I'll have to dive... I just gotta time it right.” I muttered, running as fast as I can. Fortunately for me, I'd left the door to the lazy susan open, so I could dive in. Just a yard away now, I dove towards it. “I'm gonna make it...!” ...No. No I wasn't. I landed just a foot away from it. I realized I couldn't get in as quickly with my size. “Transform!” I yelled. There was a bright flash of light, and standing in my place was a cat with perfect white hair, and a black crescent moon on its forehead. I ran into the lazy susan and yelled “Transform!” again, so I could have thumbs to shut the door with. When I transformed back my head hit the top of the lazy susan hard. “OW! I shouldn't have done that so quickly...” I said, rubbing my head. Looking out, I realized the creature was still after me. I reached for the door and shut it quickly. CHAPTER THREE:Coming soon...
