My first drawing of a boy ever (Chibi)

This is my first time ever drawing a boy. Seriously, for some reason I've never ever tried drawing a boy in my whole life before.
It's a boy whistling because he has gotten bad grades and someone in the backround (possible a parent) is mad after sing the F. I am also using it in a Manga I'm writing for a competition...

I drew this first one on Paint. No shadings, it is not complete. I didn't take long to get this far, but it is still incomplete. Could you tell me what I need to improve? Criticise, rate and advice as you like. Thanks

It's pretty good actually but seeing that I don't really draw chibis I don't think it be good for me to help you.

Your pretty good I am sure there is stuff to improve on but I am not the one to ask.

You should shade it. I also think the mouth is really, really weird, fix that. And where is he? There's no background.

But it's cute, and the lines are pretty smooth. It also looks like a boy, and I like the shirt.

Thanks Makkine! I've noticed the mouth looks really awkward too. I'm not good at the mouths. And as I said it was uncompleted, I'm putting in the shading and backround in right now. ^//^'
