There's no reason to say 'gay' only because your a 'Tomboy'.
I'm a Tomboy and I don't say it.
People find it offensive. So be careful of what you type.

Using the word gay should not be offensive to gay people in my opinion. It's not a direct insult to gays i dont think.

Gay means happy which is probably associated with flambouant and feminine guys. Maybe that's why when people see something "feminine" they call it gay. I dont think anyone uses the word with the intent to offend gay people. I even knew a gay guy who used to call things gay.

It's kind of like using the B word, even though female dogs are the farthest thing from your mind.

@Spy-der - Using the word "gay" when meaning happy is a different situation.
Looking and assuming the answers to the poll the way she is using "gay" is using it as an insult.
She isn't saying
"It's feminine -.-" or "It's happy -.-"
I'm pretty sure she means something like
"It's unappealing/boring/stupid/pathetic/ridiculous -.-" but if she does, then does this mean the word "gay" means this? Does this mean people who are "gay" are unappealing/boring/stupid/pathetic/ridiculous and etc?

@pikachu160 - It's kind of weird admitting that you are random. It's okay to be random by an impulse and it's okay if that's your personality. I think what Mr. Taost is trying to say is saying stuff about pie is cliche (I can't think of the word) when trying to be random to be funny or interesting. That's what I think :/

@Spy-der, there's two different meanings of "gay":

Gay- As in saying happy, colorful, jolly, merry, and/or jumpy.

Gay- When you are a male interested in dating the same gender.

The 2nd term of gay is probably what she meant. You could've just said "It sucks", instead of saying gay as in the "That's stupid" gay, which probably means you are against gays? Obviously if you put the face, "-.-" face next to, "It's gay" you didn't mean that IT'S AWESOME.

@Crownie, I meant that she was trying to be random, and trying to be a tomboy. AThat's not the way to do it. You're not an automatic toboy when you go, "I HATE PINK!" or something like that. She was trying to fit in and be outgoing, by saying "LOL I'MM RANDOM PIEEEEEE. HEY DO YOU LIKE PIE?".
