~Hunger Games~

Have you read The Hunger Games? I absolutely positively LOVE this book~ My favorite character would probably be Rue, and then Katniss. :3 You?

i've never read it but i have heard of it. My teacher said she was gonna read it to us but she got so wrapped up in the book she forgot

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE the Hunger games!!!! its so sad though. My faveorite characters are Katniss and Rue. I cant stand Haymitch.

It takes place in the future, the government is very controlling and so every year to show off its power and to remind everyone of how powerful they are, they hold the Hunger Games. In these games, two tributes [kids] from every district [there are 12 districts] are raffled and those kids will then be set in an arena to fight to the death. The last one standing wins.
It's not as gory as it seems xD

Man there are a lot of books about an overpowering government... and they are always interesting to me lol.

It was destroyed before the 1st book but explained a little in the three books

XD My friend changed one of our new RP types into the Hunger Games. Like the only difference is that 12 people come from each district, different characters, and the things we say. I don't really like it because she literally doesn't let us do anything except talk differently and make new characters that doesn't have to do with the book. IT'S SOOO UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. But I think I might read the series if they have it at my school library. I don't read books at home and yeah. It sounds interesting.
