Oh I love it!

The words fit together so well, but this part bugged me

{Several minutes later, feeling much better, I get up from the bench and decide to explore the garden. Suddenly, I hear the whistling noise of another knife being thrown. The sound is too distant to have been aimed at me, but I still twitch at the sound. I walk cautiously in the direction of the sound.}

I just felt the word 'sound' was overused. To me it didn't flow as well. Other than that it was beautiful. Keep up the good work ^^
