Something is wrong with me...

Ever since Monday or Tuesday, some things are wrong with me. Every morning when I wake up, my throat feels very tight. It's like my throat has swelled up completely, and I can't even talk very well. I tried clearing my throat and taking some sips of water, but it didn't help at all. I was coughing, too. The only way I can cure this is by taking a cough drop. It helps my throat untighten, and help me speak a lot better, but it's same every morning- taking a cough drop.

Is this a year-round thing or only every other season?

Okay well. It might be hard to believe but it could be allergies. I know you would think you'd always have them but I ended up getting my allergies two years ago :s
(allergies aren't just spring and fall ya'know)

I suggest asking a parental guardian and if they don't know then you might end up going to the doctors. Just keep having cough drops and you'll be good for now.

You're saying that your throat is tight?

There must be some corrolation between the pain, and sleeping since you dont get it during the day. Only the mornings, correct? I'm pretty sure it's either dry throat or (most likely) post-nasal drip (snot) into your throat. It is allergy season, so that is almost definitely your issue. Try a saline solution in the morning or nasonex.

Dude, I dont really think these type of answers are what she's looking for. I dont see how that helps her. It would be pretty coincidental if her throat just miraculously stopped hurting just because she hopes it stops.

I think that Nasonex brand is best. I honestly, don't know what is wrong, but Nasonex is best since it really helps my mom's allergies.
