You would need like hair scissors ( or however you spell it), a straightening iron if you have curly hair, extensions ( if you have short), some barettes for straightening, and some dye if you have permission.

I typed dye if you wanted to add color. But you do need scissors and some other stuff.

I personally don't like the style, but you'll need some scissors of different sizes.

go get it down professionally or it...won't work.
also, it won't look like that when you cut it
you actually have to style it
that means straightening the crap out of it
and teasing it
getting extensions
and a crapload of hairspray

actually,I looked it up on yahoo and if you get it done a certian way,you don't have to style it every day (or straighten it,or hairspray it) ;D I'ma just look for someone that CAN do it once my hair grows out again -.- (gosh dang the JCPenny lady)

Scene hair is stupid to me. Sure, it looks cool, but it's just....too eyeball catching.
You need this layering and if you want highlights, just get extensions or you'll be having split ends any time soon.

I do like the whole idea of scene hair, I just don't like the scene style.
Basically scene hair is just a lot of choppy layers with side swept bangs.
In order to get this scene look you would need to tease your hair and use hairspray to keep it up and straighten the rest of your hair.

Tools you will need are probably layer scissors, regular hair scissors, and maybe a thinning razor. I don't suggest you get it cut at a hair salon or something. If you know someone personally who can cut hair, ask them to do it, because they actually (most likely) care about what you look like. Either that or try doing it yourself using youtube as a reference. If you decide to cut it yourself, cut a little bit at a time.
