Eye Tutorial [For FantageLuver]

1. Draw the top and bottom of the eyes. The line thickness can vary. It should look something like this:


2. Draw the outside of the iris. It should be drawn like two large parentheses, so to speak.


3. Now we draw the first shine: a circle at the top right corner of the iris.


4. Now we include the second shine. It sort of curves down from the first shine.


5. Draw the pupil: a small circle in the center of the iris.


6. It's time to start shading. Let's begin with the line ("the line" being the line that separates the shadow from the colored part of the eye). It goes down on the right side, and up on the left.

7. Now color in the top half BLACK (it looks red in this step to show how it's done).


8. You're now free to color the bottom half any color you want.


9. This step is optional: if the eye is a girl's add the eyelashes.


10. Now you're done!
