| Ughhh okay, so for Science we have this project called "Save Eggbert!" Basically we get into a group of four and construct a vehicle that would sustain forces to will help land "Eggbert" (Eggbert = a regular egg) safely. (We push our vehicle off a roof) From Monday through Thursday our group worked hard on making the vehicle. We had to constantly change things (like the parachute and evening the wheels). It was a pain in the butt, but we were finally done just before the bell rang on Thursday haha. Today, everyone had to present their vehicle and push it off the roof. While we were going to the building, someone dropped their egg. That gave them an automatic zero xD (they were fooling around anyway). Only two eggs broke, one had a crack while another one flew out of the vehicle and down to the mat. We thought our egg cracked as well, because when our vehicle landed to the mat, it tipped over and the egg fell onto it, so our team was like "NOOOO EGGBERT!" Janet(one of the team members) and I ran over to him, but he was safe. We high fived each other lol. After all the vehicles were pushed off, the unexpected happen. These two idiots decided it would be so hilarious to egg one another, and guess who got egg'd -________-. They hit me at the back D8< I was so freaking mad. I wasn't the only, almost all of the whole class got egg'd. The two idiots got suspended LOL. We spent our remaining period time going to the bathroom to cleaning ourselves :[. Good thing I was wearing a jacket. I got a 100 out of 100 on the project though heh c:
And during orchestra I asked this guy named Jason (who is like a god at playing violin) how to do vibrato on the viola. (If you guys don't know what vibrato is it's when your shaking your fingers back and forth on the string to create a "smoother" sound) He first showed me the super fast way and I was like "...THAT DIDN'T HELP AT ALL D:<". So then he said to just do it slowly and increase your speed slowly bit by bit when you get the hang of it. He brought the metronome thing and set it to 80 beats per minute and taught me how to hold the viola while doing the vibrato thing. It's harder than you think :c. I asked him how long it took him to "master" it and he said "about 8 to 10 months". I sat there depressed while practicing it lol. My hand kept cramping up so I said "okay no more" and he was like "dude that was only 2 minutes of practice. I demand 20 minutes or else DROP AND GIVE ME 20" I actually did the 20 push ups instead xD Then I told him about me being egg'd and he was just laughing. I smacked him with my viola bow. After that, when everyone was playing the song (Toy Symphony), I was sitting there attempting to play while doing vibrato xD. My friend next to me was watching me like "what are you doing..." and I started cracking up. I swear after I post this I will continue practicing it =3=

| Oooh, the egg drop. My school used to have that (they have gone cheap, and now they don't do it anymore). Do you make your devices out of straw? That's the way it worked at my school. Man, I loved the egg drop. People would make really cool contraptions. I'll bet you had fun. | |

..That's what I was thinking. lol Ahaha that was my first thought! I keep imagining Karkat throwing a bucket-bearing John off a roof. Wow, you guys are smart...I would have never been able to figure that out. Maybe it's good that I'm homeschooled; I suck at construction activities. I'm glad that you had fun! c: | |

| I did that project in 8th grade. My egg survived, woo! . I'm learning vibrato on my saxophone at the moment and it's a lot different than on a guitar and stuff. . | |

| Huh egg drop, sounds fun. ---
Vibrato on the flute takes lots of air, humm, but I've been practicing it for a while so its not too bad. Just a pain to get it out when you go into the third octave. -.-

| I did the egg drop thing, too. I did it the lazy way, though and put the egg in with bubblewrap inside a lunch bag. xD To the vibrato thing, I learned how to do that on the flute in seventh grade and somehow manage to do it on my bassoon when I have solos and am extremely nervous. x3 | |
