FantageForum.com domain

I tried to log on yesterday, and I thought it was an april fools joke.

The only thing I find the least bit troubling about this is that to all the people who have shop/story/etc. links in their signatures have to make sure they have the "forumotion" part in the link, so it won't lead to a page like this:

And that's pretty much the only problem that anyone should have with this domain change, if that counts as a problem.

But, I suppose if having the fantageforum.com link is important to you, Mace and Cyrus, then good luck being able to get it back. c;

and if it's basically the same and all you have to do is add a few more characters than it doesn't really matter... As long as we all have the same people here s'aalll good ;3

The domain expired. You have to pay a certain amount of money to own the domain. You don't just pay for it once and get to keep it forever. For example, forumotion domains could cost $20 a year. You buy 1600 credits from forumotion for 18 dollars and you by the domain with those.

I think I was going through Forumotion one day. Aren't there contests where you can earn credits?
And are domains only active for a year?
